Edna Lister All substance is One Substance, everywhere evenly present, and available for our use. We are discussing Universal Substance in its relationship to the individual’s life on earth and its expression in crystallized form, which is the Mystical Romantic History of the Descent of the Creator gods. We study God under five great categories of expression: Mysticism, philosophy, science, metaphysics and psychology. Mysticism involves the Mysteries of God as Personality. Philosophy deals with God as Principle. Science is our only ladder between the outer and inner worlds, and it relates to outer facts and principles. The field of metaphysics treats the realm just beyond our fingertips, and we use it to modify and dilute truth to fit humanity’s needs. Psychology studies God as Mind and Personality in humanity, as humanity. Popular psychology doesn’t include this refinement. The Master based all his teachings on these categories because they are exact Laws that work. As above, so below — what exists at the periphery must exist at the center. We can have nothing on the outer that is not present at the Source, which is the basis of the metaphysical statement that "God is everywhere evenly present, and available." Mysteries deal with three expressions of the Life of God. The Father’s Mysteries relate to Personality and Principle as Wisdom. The Mother’s Mysteries of Love deal with Principle and Personality as the creative process. The Mysteries of the Holy Ghost, the Son of Energy, relate to Personality and Principle in balanced action as Christed consciousness. So we teach God as both Principle and Personality, and Heaven as both a state of consciousness and a place. We create our own Heaven and our own hell. Everyone is free to choose his approach to God. Everybody is privileged to worship God as he wishes. We see some strange expressions of this. Some fashion a god like themselves, since their imagination goes no higher. We need not approach God as Personality unless that comforts us. Metaphysics works by modifying Principle to suit individual needs. Mysticism correlates with relative personality, as our expression of the Life of God. We can live under God as "deathless, ageless and abiding" only by regarding Father-God as the Wisdom Principle, Mother-God as the Love Principle, and God the Son, the Holy Spirit, as the Joy Principle. We can enfold anything earthly religions can produce into the balance scale of Love and Wisdom. Do I know how to prepare myself for a miracle? We cannot force anything without causing the Law of Force to react. We can achieve our goals only on a balance of Love and Wisdom. We can attract anything through Love, if we surrender in love to the one idea. In Marie Corelli’s novel, The Life Everlasting, the heroine undergoing Initiation wanted a rose blooming high on a wall beyond reach. The young woman loved the rose. She desired that rose to grow toward her and it came because she had learned the balance between Love and Wisdom. Suspended in time and space, Universal Substance filled her single vision of desire. She stood in complete surrender to her desire that the rose would come. She had no room in her mind to hold anything but that vision, and the rose came to her. Desire is how the oak grows from an acorn, the stalk from a kernel of corn, the lily from a bulb. A seed has only one aspiration and it grows into that desire. The reality lies underneath the surface appearance. What we need lies in space as an invisible seed, which becomes visible, given enough time, though we may never have asked for it. To transcend outer time, however, we must love God, and surrender ourselves to that one desire, to bring it into manifestation. Stand surrendered, envision the idea until you know your clear-cut desire-mold, then surrender to it. Love God, love the "becoming" of this vision into form. Talk to the Father. Thank God that He is condensing Universal Substance to fill your desire-mold. Exercise your talents, learn to reach up and draw in Universal Substance instantly. We dream to escape the mundane and reach the realm of soul. This is how we prepare for a miracle. We study to learn how to draw down Universal Substance through Divine Mind. We draw upon Divine Mind for what we learned last week. What we learn in this body, we will carry in our desire body’s midbrain neurons. We write it forever in our soul record, if we impress it upon our conscious memory cells. Power vigorously descends and ascends the spine for the Kiss of the Serpent. Light descends under illumination, strikes the optic chiasm of the thalamus, the pituitary gland swells, then the pineal. Light shoots into the pituitary and pineal glands and each releases three drops of glandular secretion, hormones that become "milk" and "honey," which make a pure, perfect thyroid hormone, thyroxine. We have no substitute for the thyroid hormone created from above the crown, brow and throat centers. It secretes from the salivary glands and parathyroid glands, and creates proper digestive acids, balancing the gall bladder, spleen and liver. Light descends from the thyroid to the thymus, the seat of Eternal Youth, and it begins to regenerate. Then it descends to the adrenal glands and fills the bloodstream. [The thymus is the gland of Eternal Youth, the immune system architect. Located in front and above the heart, it grows until puberty, when it atrophies and is replaced by fat and connective tissue. Its atrophy may be the source of aging.] "Each person functions perfectly through pineal, pituitary and thyroid. The pure thyroid substance becomes visibly manifest." This is a great treatment for our loved ones and the world. As atomic energy and cosmic rays increase Power, this is a necessity. Many people have lazy thyroids. Use this declaration, and "see" them as being alert and alive with Power. The Power that fills your deep breaths alters the desire body chemistry, and a perfect thyroid hormone can manifest. This is our gift today. What we ask for another becomes our portion, doubled. Any demand carries its own power of fulfillment. Nothing we are presented with is impossible to lift, even another’s outrageous demand. What shocks and gives us an adrenaline "rush" began as the White Light of the Christ. If we go "down" on a demand in hatred, anger or resentment, we use our life force, and the adrenaline poisons our bloodstream. It becomes toxic when we get "hot under the collar." If we ascend on a demand, we open the secret of Eternal Youth. Say, "I have contacted Divine Mind and I am living under Eternal Youth." Light begins as Universal Substance and descends through the glands as Power. Each has a built-in converter to make this Light his life. The Creator’s secret technique for Eternal Youth is to draw the abdominal muscles in, which we call "girding your loins." We consciously pull the magnetic currents of earth through our feet, raise our hands and draw Light in through our crown saying, "Let there be Light! Let Light move through me now!" This forms a sheath of magnetic currents over the diaphragm to protect against cross-vibrations, negativity and evil. This is also how we open spiritual "seeing" and "hearing," and eliminate illness. We can use this treatment for others, too. Universal Substance descends as Light through the crown and brow centers, activating the pineal and pituitary glands. Then it moves to the thymus as Power for Eternal Youth. As we study the Bible, live Truth and become Truth, these things happen, whether we know it or not. Many people do not want Eternal Youth and ask, "why?" The world lives in fear of old age and death, suffering from "nobody wants me." We adulterate pristine Universal Substance with these little, grey world-thoughts. How bright is your illumination? How strong is your desire? What degree of flaming desire have you to know God? The heat of our desire determines what we receive for our efforts. Are you afraid of Power? If you say, "No?" or "No . . . ," you are not balanced. Let Power move through to lift darkness from earth. Seek soul assurance to be ready to release full Power. Speak sweetly, firmly and finally. If we want our centers alight with the explosion of the seeds of life, we must return to the states of consciousness in the Seven Degrees. Say, "I AM that Joy, I AM! I AM that Love, I AM! I AM that Light I AM!" Universal Substance is everywhere evenly present and available as lifesparks of Light. We have One God as one substance in all, through all, as all. As above, so below. Universal Substance forms everything. Every cell in our bodies is Universal Substance. We are immortal now through Universal Substance. Everything is the one Substance of God, the Substance of faith. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith can be conscious or unconscious. Unconscious faith operates through animals and inanimate things. Faith operates as all things conscious. God gives the Living Soul the power of conscious direction and control. God gives Substance the power of becoming what the Living Soul declares and stands upon. Substance condenses from its universal state into the form of our desire.
According to scientific principle, everything is composed of "universal cells" of Divine Substance. Whether steel, iron, rocks or trees, all are composed of universal cells. A universal cell is a set of molecules of a specific atomic rate of vibration. The number of atoms and molecules determines the type of cell. As souls, we are now dwelling in three bodies, physical, desire and mental. Twenty-two trillion cells compose our physical bodies. Every cell is composed of molecules. Molecules form the desire body, the seat of sensation or "feelings," which holds the chakra centers. Atoms fill molecules. Every atom is a power station that we can draw upon for energy. We have sufficient atomic power in one hand to could destroy an entire city, if we released it. Are you physically tired or mentally flat? Our bodies become limp or tired because the atoms have collapsed. Every time we go to bed, more atoms die. People can rest themselves to death. When you are tired or stressed, declare "This is my sign of eternal strength" and the adrenal glands produce the needed energy. We need more life not rest! Don’t rest "down," stretch out and rest "up" to inflate the atomic structure. Our various bodies are complete and they overlap each other. We are now forming our mental bodies. They will not sass us as much as our physical and desire bodies do, unless subsoul takes over and "it" uses us. As we form our mental body, we slough the desire body and our physical organs become lighter. Protons and electrons, the seat of the Oversoul’s fire body, fill the mental body atoms. When egoic soul enters the physical body, the mental body lotus centers overlie the desire body chakras. When the Oversoul begins to enter, the seven sun centers of the electronic fire body begin to form. How do we know when this happens? We feel alive, alert and aware with the life of God. Ascension draws invisible lifesparks of Universal Substance from outer to inner, from the physical to the desire to the mental to the fire body. The desire and mental bodies will be alike. I Corinthians 15:44 says, "There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body." The natural body is corruptible, and we must ascend it to the spiritual to become incorruptible. The Universal Substance we use this year is not the same Substance we used last year. With arms of Light we gather misused soul substance and lift it into Light. The River of Life is the three Emanations as One, flowing without ceasing from the Throne of God. The River of Life continuously purifies Universal Substance. At the beginning of this Day of Manifestation, Creator gods from Heavenly Realms descended to earth in long, slow stages. They rested in each realm to precipitate a Sphere of Light from the Universal Substance on that level to serve as a body. These Living Souls were Androgynous Beings called Holy Pairs. They were dual, male and female, two bodies in one Sphere of Light. A rainbow cord, a thousand Light strands fastened them from navel to navel at the solar plexus center. When they began life on earth, 12,000 from each of twelve Golden Cities of God descended to rule the planets and earth. The Holy Pairs breathed, drew in Light until their spheres exploded, and they threw off millions of lifesparks, one quarter of the original lifesparks bestowed on them. These lifesparks, which each Holy Pair named and numbered, precipitated from Light to ether to gas to fire and cooled to water, they evolved through all stages of creation, gaseous, mineral, vegetable and animal, and they carry memory impressions of those states. Each lifespark contains a seed of soul at its heart. Lifesparks that have evolved through the lower kingdoms contain memory impressions of every experience-expression, each of which can color subconscious mind. The impressions are difficult to erase, as if the lifesparks had never been a part of an Androgynous Being with its high heritage of rulership. When a Living Soul is ready to incarnate, his subsoul calls together these named and numbered lifesparks, two by two into the Ark of the Mother, the womb, to become the physical body he inhabits in earth life. The Elohim, Watchers over Creation, of Genesis, put the first Holy Pair to sleep and severed their cord of Light, which was the separation of masculine and feminine. Each always had his or her own body in one sheath. Rainbow lines of Light radiate between begotten and created mates. In a marriage made in Heaven, the lines of Light extend from the crown lotus, sometimes from the heart center. We attach our silver cord in the crown lotus atop the head, but its other end is forked. The egoic soul hooks it into the two parent cells, sperm and ovum, through the mother’s navel center. Each incarnating soul builds his body under his Great Guard’s direction, if he is wise. Those rebellious souls, who ignore suggestion and supervision, often build bodies with extreme or mild debilitating limitations. An extreme example is inheritable terminal illness, while a mild illustration is needing glasses. Oversoul retains one-half the Living Soul’s lifesparks. The remaining lifesparks, divided into three portions, form the body sheath, subsoul and egoic soul. The mother’s bloodstream totally supports the embryo until the "quickening," when the mother feels the life of the fetus "quicken" within her womb. Then subsoul enters the physical bloodstream, changing it and personalizing it at the quickening. Subsoul records prenatal impressions on the desire body platelets. Power descends through the platelets of the bloodstream to the heart center, helping the subsoul to draw in soul substance to build the body. The soul should enter gently. If subsoul enters too quickly or under rebellion at birth, it can be a "blue baby" [congenital cyanosis] destroying the heart or causing a defect. The child comes with the left pituitary side of the crown lotus open. A newborn child recognizes people from soul-consciousness for about three weeks, or until egoic soul begins to enter. Egoic soul lifesparks start descending to possess the bloodstream at birth. Lifesparks continue to descend in a series of seven seven-year cycles, until the Oversoul descends at age forty-nine (7 x 7 = 49). Oversoul attaches to egoic soul by the silver cord, a thousand strands of rainbow light. For soul flights, our silver cord stretches as far as our degree of self-surrender. When the last desire body subsoul substance joins the egoic soul mental body for soul flights, we begin to burn away the silver cord. One thousand burnt offerings of self will burn it, strand after strand, until Oversoul enters to possess the egoic soul. Then the individual becomes a full Living Soul. As we ascend, we still polish our unfinished conquering and receive illumination on our first ascent on the Wheel of Terrah. When we ascend under illumination, we step to the Hub of the Wheel and open a new round of incarnations and Initiations. This is the second ascent, twelve times through the signs or 144 steps on the second creative Wheel of EVE. At the second ascent, we begin a thousand burnt offerings, a thousand days of mental perfection before the altar. These open the thousand-petaled crown lotus and the petals of all forty-four mental body lotus centers (see pages 206-207). Even if we "blow up" on the nine hundred and ninety-ninth day and must begin the burnt offerings again, we have built all those days of strength as immunity to others’ emotions for the next lap. We do want immunity to others’ emotions so the same old traps won’t trip us. In every Degree, we receive the credits we’ve earned, even when we break our thousand burnt offerings. When someone makes a promise, he opens the way for the substance of the promise, even if the promise is not kept. When we receive substance from anyone anywhere, our acceptance and love cross out his debt. Universal patience "waits upon the Lord" for fulfilment above earth, in the Source of Mind itself. No patience is the opposite of impatience. When we really conquer self and have no taints, we hold, are not touched, hurt, bored or impatient. We work for acceptance and endurance of delays as perfect, but there also must be that beautiful giving of self in seeing God, invisible and loving. The second ascent of Seven Degrees, which is the highest plateau of the Degrees, has seven requirements. The Neophyte’s requirement is the Search for Truth: Standing in the outer temple court, one searches for Truth. We lift the first Veil of Maya when we accept that Jesus the Christ is the First Begotten Son of God. The Disciple’s requirement is Illumination to lift the second Veil of Maya: Standing before the radiance shining through the curtain of the Holy Ghost, which is royal blue, emblazoned with an eye, in the Supreme Temple of the Sun. The Adept’s requirement is Comprehension of the nature of Power to lift the third Veil of Maya: Standing in the inner court of the temple, one comprehends Power. The Mystic’s requirement is Contemplation of the Glory: Standing before our altar in the Golden Silence, we contemplate the Glory concealed by the fourth Veil of Maya. The Master’s requirement is Attainment of seership and prophecy, gifts that lie behind the fifth Veil of Maya: Standing in the Courts of Melchizedek, one attains the Seven Cities of God. The Priest’s requirement is Awareness of the Kingdom of Heaven, here and now, to part the sixth Veil of Maya: Standing in the Holy of Holies, one is aware of the Kingdom. The Christos requirement is Opening the Crown to lift the seventh Veil of Maya: Ascending to the Sacred Sphere of the Flame at the Source Throne Circle, one opens the crown. We are all making at least our second ascent on the wheel, and some are nearing its end. The pineal and pituitary glands awaken to illumination and intuition as we make the second ascent, which opens stored memories of past lives, especially the emotional negatives. We inscribe these records on the blood platelets that we store in the desire body’s medulla oblongata. Stored memory poisons cause diseases of the brain and head, and they spew into the bloodstream, causing migraines, viral infections and all manners of illness. Yet how can darkness exist if we pour Light upon it? As we conquer on these Degrees in the second ascent, we ascend our memory records, and the fervency of our prayers instantly absorbs the stored darkness. Light pours through the pineal, pituitary, thyroid and parathyroid glands to awaken the thymus to Rebirth as Eternal Youth and to ascend the adrenal glands (see page 205). After sufficient medulla oblongata cleansing, our parathalamus glands begin to open and we have intuition and illumination. In this age, the parathalamus glands are present in every child born on earth, appearing as two infinitesimal slips next to the optic chiasm of the thalamus. The Elect are awakening their parathalamus glands through the quality of their fervency and by maintaining a twenty-four-hour contact with God. Our parathalamus glands do not begin to open until we have completed the 144 steps of the second ascent of the Wheel of EVE. Following is the second open Fiery Cross of Ascension, the Cross of the Mystic, who balances at the heart center, between heaven and earth. Venus expresses earthly love, beauty and the Law of Agreeing and Adjusting. Neptune is the higher octave or vibration of Venus. Neptune expresses the "hearing" faculty, and universal Love and Beauty as Unity, which is the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of God. Mercury here bears the Message of the Word of God to humanity on earth. Uranus is the higher octave, or vibration, of Mercury. Uranus represents the "seeing" faculty, and the Divine Wisdom of the Father, who sends forth the Word. |
