Psychology and metaphysics teach us that we condition our lives by our thinking, and that thinking correctly can change any present condition. What we think determines our present state of consciousness.

A person can be obsessed, possessed by an evil spirit, or possessed by a devil he has created himself. One is obsessed with an idea. A persecution complex or obsession causes an individual to cower from others and brings possession by a devil of his own making, sometimes his own "dweller on the threshold of consciousness," which is a dark cloud entity of misused Mind, separated from Power and Substance by negative thinking. It cannot act of itself but always returns to its creator, who sees this misused Substance as a black cloud. We say, "come out!" Psychology says, "talk it out," which takes longer, but still works.

We breathe the Breath of God every time we inhale. We can take the Light from Holy Breath and send it out as a darkened cloud, ranging from pale grey to black.

The easiest way to misuse soul substance is by using idle words. People give away soul with every idle word they speak. How can we help? By praying for them. Everyone who prays relieves the earth of darkness.

We give away soul substance with every idle word. The Law is, if we go to the Altar with a contrite heart, God forgives us, for now. Say, "Father, wipe the hurt from everyone’s heart here on earth," and He wipes the hurt from everyone’s heart that night.

"Dis" means out of place. Disposition means a personality is out of place. We say, "what a disposition," automatically meaning the personality is off-balance, the aura off-color.

We say "what a fine character" when a person is balanced. It doesn’t matter whether we say he is "bad" or "just fine," we still use soul substance as an opinion.

Do you believe that Heaven is a state of consciousness? It is. You create your own Heaven. You create your own Hell. Do you consider this room a place? You are in your Heaven right now.

Heaven isn’t any easier to find in another place. It doesn’t matter if you think living in the city makes it harder or going to the mountains makes it easier. Heaven is where you are right now, and you take yourself along. To declare everything good is the secret of having our Heaven here and now. God declares each of us good. For us to do less makes our present place less than heavenly. Heaven is a place, and we take ourselves along.

We may see ourselves as Light and Glory over there, but we must still conquer our earth taints. When we leave the body at night, we appear before Inner Councils for a just appraisal that we accept or repudiate. If we accept, we return in the morning intending to do better today. If we repudiate, we feel depressed, irritable and low.

Do you believe "This is good"? Do you believe that God is Wisdom? Do you believe that God is all loving? Do you believe that God is honorable? Do you believe that God is loyal? Do you rejoice? Are you glad? If we believe that God is all Justice, Love, Patience and Mercy, would we harm anyone? How can we believe that God, who planned this universe and created it with such wonders, would deliberately annihilate it? This is opinion and prejudice.

Our God is the God of all: Jew, Arab, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, from atheist to animist. Do we think that God is going to waste such a Creation, such countless millions? The great God of All wants all His children to be saved. He wants all His children to come home to Heaven as a place, as a state of consciousness without prejudice.

Look beyond the mask of agnosticism many teenagers wear. Say, "You have worked out a wonderful pose, a front before the world, an armor that keeps you from violating the truth that is within you. Deep in your heart you do believe in God." Their agnostic poses hold their belief in the Glory of God inviolate. Young persons are so vulnerable, and they think it "smart" to say we must "show" them. We never need to prove God or that Heaven is a place. Tell them to disprove it. Just say, "Prove to me there is no God." What is your proof? It is up to you to have an answer for your Faith.

Seeking God is an individualistic thing. Everyone wants to communicate with God. The one who won’t accept God just won’t accept responsibility, he just wants to avoid paying his debts. Irresponsibility, which is a state of consciousness, is the root of agnosticism and atheism.

We are threefold in consciousness, subconscious, conscious and superconscious, and we have faculties called Thinking, Desire and Imagination.

We condition our lives by our thinking. A metaphysical statement says, "If I think correctly, I can recondition myself and my life."

No matter what your "head" says, if your "gut" makes you "feel" something different, your imagination will follow your feelings, which reflect your emotional desires. We have lived by our emotional "feelings" and they have caused all kinds of limitations in our lives. We may find ourselves in an emotional upheaval and not know why.

We can hear something upsetting and think of divine perfection, yet if our feelings are hurt and our emotions disturbed, we go down the pole while imagination builds dark pictures. Our feelings are our emotional life. Someone may tell us a truth that we see logically, but don’t accept emotionally, which is how prejudices spring from crystallized emotions.

Opinions spring from crystallized intellect, and can make us so stubborn and willful that no one can convince us otherwise. Opinions and prejudices hold the world in bondage. People build a wall that keeps out anything new.

We condition ourselves by our thinking, and we must ascend and cleanse our emotional life of desires as well. Ice is the lowest form of crystallized Substance. The state of our emotions dictates the flexibility of our thinking. So we must sublimate emotional desires, or our crystallized emotions still control us.

How do I lift my emotional life? The secret is declaring everything good. God said, "Let there be Light!" to begin manifestation. The Days of Creation were great geological ages. Before anything was – gases, water, rock – everything was Light. Light is the Substance of everything. What is your body? Light. What is your soul? Light.

God said of the Light, "This is good." Jesus operated on the Law of "This is good," which is the secret of perfect creations. It raises the rate of vibration of any person, situation or thing. By raising (expanding) and lowering (contracting) the rate of vibration of Light, we can make form.

Expansion and Contraction are the Principles that condition imagination and emotion. Three-quarters of the healing is just plain, common sense. Healing is raising our state of consciousness, and our thinking definitely conditions our state of consciousness.

Our state of consciousness reflects our present emotions, thinking and imagination. We really do create our own Heaven and our own Hell. We can, we do change our physical life, our material life by changing from negative to positive. We must recondition our life. All is good, no matter how it looks. Declare everything that comes is good. "All things work together for good to those who love God." Say, "This is good, Father. I know Your Power can fix this, just as it moved upon the face of the waters and formed the perfect earth."

Hell & Heaven

Read from left to right, HEAVEN, represents the descent from Heaven to earth. Read from the right, NEVAEH represents ascent from earth to Heaven:

God is everywhere evenly present and available. (Edna Miriam held out her hand and said she held a handful of air.) We cannot see it but we know it is there. All of God is there.

You are as immortal now as you will ever be. You – the Light, the Living Soul, the Christed One – condition the outer physical sheath you wear with your thinking and emotions. "God, dwelling in this body, conditions this body when I sublimate my emotions" works when we accept it as Truth. We can accept Truth, but our responsibility is to be Truth, a perfect state of consciousness.

Who has put you in your present condition? Who has put you where you are? Have you accepted responsibility for reconditioning your life? What is the condition of your present state of consciousness?

To declare our creations good means we are mothering and loving these creations. When we mother and love them, even if they are malformations, Light and Power begin to work it together into perfection, which is the power behind the statement, "This is good."

The figure Y symbolizes the individual standing upright with arms raised toward Heaven. When you "see" a Y, declare that it contains the three windows of the soul open toward New Jerusalem. Your New Jerusalem is the blue, five-pointed Oversoul Star above the golden bowl. The three "windows" inside the golden bowl are the 1) optic chiasm, 2) left and right parathalamus and 3) the thalamus of the brain. Light pours over the nerve plexus centers giving vitality to physical organs. Seven desire body chakras overlay seven physical glands and nerve plexus centers, where the colors of the aura are fastened.

I Corinthians 15:44 says that we have both a natural body and a spiritual body. We have the natural body in the cellular-physical. Our spiritual body occupies three grades of Substance, molecular-desire, atomic-mental and electronic-fire-soulual. Our desire body is a replica of our physical, part for part.

When we leave our heavy physical sheath at night, we take our other three bodies with us, leaving just a bit of subsoul to tend the physical. If we do not take a deep breath when we return in the morning, these bodies may not enter straight, and alignment will be sloppy. Our desire heart must overlay our physical heart, or we will have palpitations. If we could get people to breathe into the physical, they would have no more heart trouble.

Each organ represents some faculty or attribute of the emotional and mental life. For instance, the spleen represents opinions, prejudices, reluctance and hate. [The spleen filters blood to remove all bacteria, particulate matter, platelets and aged, non-functioning red blood cells from circulation.] Bones represent our expression of the structure or framework of Law in life.

The liver represents sincerity and ethics. One can be sure that he is right and everyone else is wrong and this is a sincere opinion. It follows that lies, in any form, will eventually cause liver trouble. [The liver, the largest organ in the body, is the final site of digestion, synthesizing glycogen from glucose, incorporating amino acids into proteins, etc. It manufactures cholesterol, probably produces several proteins and synthesizes several blood clotting factors and an anticoagulant. It is the body’s main detoxification plant, filtering digestive waste and destroying bacteria circulating in the bloodstream. The liver stores vitamins B-12, A, D, E and K; it helps regulate blood volume and is a main source of body heat.]

We store our personal soul records in the medulla oblongata of the desire body midbrain. We roll our memory records like microfilm under each neuron and we take them with us from incarnation to incarnation. We start with a new brain in each incarnation. We impress the old records on the new brain cells while recording the current life’s experiences.

We can see these records with the right focus. It’s like a movie projector. Light descends to strike the optic chiasm of the thalamus and illumines the record, which unfolds and projects in front of you, like a panorama.

Focus your eyes on the substance between you and the world to see these records. You can see all your past incarnations this way.

How do you know when you are ready? Wash your records white as snow. Surrender of self washes the record clean. Love cleanses and absorbs. Pour out Love and Forgiveness on all and give up all self. Then, "When the student is ready, the Master appears."

We also inscribe memories on the desire body platelets [physical platelets relate to blood clotting]. Negative thoughts and feelings infect platelet records and each retains a trace of past poison in the body.

In this lifetime we are cleansing our records and each platelet wants to discharge its drop of poison into the physical blood. One by one, they release the memories and we convert them into Light. Platelets relate to our balance of Love, Wisdom and Selflessness, which we express as desire, will and surrender.

Desire platelets have three shapes: subsoul’s are square, egoic soul’s are triangular and Oversoul’s are round.

Subsoul platelets enter the physical medulla oblongata as the egoic soul enters the new body within the Ark of the Mother, the womb, the "quickening" at eighteen weeks. Some square platelets enter the mother’s bloodstream to help the egoic soul establish its hold on the new body. Two weeks before birth the egoic soul withdraws, leaving only subsoul to hold the body.

With the first breath, subsoul breathes the desire body into the physical, occupying the platelets as far as the heart center. Full breathing to the sacrum takes about a year to complete, because the child must draw the remaining subsoul platelets from his desire body medulla oblongata into his physical bloodstream.

Cancer is a poison direct from the past of habitual irritation, criticism, hatred and condemnation. The sign under which you were born rules your weak spot. If you are to have cancer, the sun sign [or aspects to the sun] will show where. Do not let your imagination run wild on this.

Arrogance and past pride of intellect cause any swelling. It enters the present on the platelets from the medulla oblongata. The source of tumors is egotism, pride and arrogance, especially if one has hidden it from himself. The emotion of pride causes the swelling and growth.

For instance, the head is where Faith functions as a soul faculty. So do Logic, Reason, Discretion, Discrimination, Discernment, other mental faculties and the baser propensities of emotion and instinct. An old-fashioned phrenologist’s chart will show where the faculties and propensities originate. Propensities lie in the back brain, near the base of the skull.

Higher mental faculties originate in the frontal lobes near the forehead and the top of the head. If an individual has been proud of his faith, logic, ability to reason or held other intellectual arrogance in the past, then the tumor appears wherever the pride was. If you are proud that you know the truth, the swelling is in the top of the head.

How do we heal this? How do we cleanse this before it begins? Cleanse your records as you climb. Surrender to the Father and give Him the credit for all you have cleansed. Obedience to Law, surrender and soul conquering cleanse these taints, no matter whether the individual is aware of them.

When a Living Soul enters an animal, we call it transmigration, which is rare and happens only where the soul has a long history of hardness of heart and refuses to ask forgiveness. "I’d rather die than admit I’m wrong" or "I’d rather die than say I’m sorry." The dog stage is the final point of retrogression. A dog’s deep devotion for its master means that it is evolving from the animal kingdom naturally. If the dog is entirely vicious, it is descending in retrogression. If it is part-loving and part-vicious, then someone’s love is redeeming it.

Indigo blue is the Death Ray. When someone is passing to the "other side," indigo begins to fan just below the breastbone and extends upward. The soul leaves the body when indigo appears as a complete fan over the head. A cloud of purple, which accompanies a creeping paralysis or coldness, often ascends from the feet as the soul’s Guards lift and withdraw platelets and lifesparks from the physical body.

"This corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality." We must cleanse the blood platelets’ lifesparks for incorruptibility and immortality. During a final illness, the person unconsciously withdraws platelets and takes his last breath when they are completely indrawn. We absorb platelet records into the desire body medulla oblongata at death.

A patient will linger if any platelets remain crystallized in the physical. The treatment is to declare that Light enters and releases the platelets. Say, "Let all Name’s crystallized emotions be healed and let the platelets be absorbed. Let all crystallization of past emotions and wrong living be released from Name’s organs and let it be stored in Name’s desire body medulla oblongata."

We inhale Light with seven breaths as One through the crown of the head. Light waters the garden of Eden, then descends to the sacrum plexus at the base of the spine. It vitalizes physical organs, glands and nerves, quickens desire body chakras and mental body lotus centers and stimulates the heart sun center in the soul’s fire body.

Deep breathing will draw in earth’s magnetic currents to combine with Light from above in the sacrum; this causes it to ascend the spine as Creative Fire. As Light ascends the spine, it touches the gonads, liver, spleen and the adrenal glands. The ascending Light creates an explosion of Light at the solar plexus, which cannot happen without deep breathing. [The tenth cranial nerve, the vagus/pneumogastric, innervates the solar plexus and branches to the stomach, heart and lungs.]

The forty-four atomic mental body lotus centers have been growing in the Elect Descended Gods since 1953. They are part of the Wings of the Holy Ghost, "soul glands," organs of Justice and Balance gained through taking responsibility seriously. Lotus centers help us in the functioning of atomic radiation.

The sixteen-petaled lotus is on top of the head. When we are born, we awaken eight petals on the left side. These are petals of Love as Intuition. By studying, learning and becoming Law the other eight on the right side open to Wisdom as Illumination. Every nerve within the skull has a phosphorescent tip. When we pray, Light sets the tips afire and forms the thousand-petaled lotus around the crown center, called the Higher Creative Center. Seen with inner Vision, these lotus petals shine with a delicate silver-golden light, like flames, painted as halos in old pictures.

We have a twelve-petaled lotus at the brow chakra and another over the thyroid gland at the base of the throat. In each are six petals for Love and Intuition and six for Wisdom and Illumination. A four-petaled lotus is found at the outer corner of each eye. One petal of each lotus connects with the optic nerve, and the heart of each touches the optic chiasm of the thalamus. We have a four-petaled lotus at the opening of each ear, rooted in the ear drum.

At the front of each shoulder is a four-petaled lotus. At the tip of each shoulder blade is a two-petaled lotus. These lotuses are shock absorbers for balance in standing and holding. The lotus centers on the shoulder blades are the basis for our inner wings of Light. We have a two-petaled lotus on either side of the sacroiliac, and they join at the top of the sacroiliac. These lotus centers open when we "gird our loins." We also have a two-petaled lotus on each knee, which close when we are weak-kneed or waver in standing on Principle. We must stand up to open them. Outside each ankle, rooted in the bone, is a four-petaled lotus that opens when we give up opinions and prejudices, or we are liable to trip over them.

The Royal Fans of Pharaoh form our helmet of salvation mentioned in Ephesians 6:17, a sheath over the head that protects the desire body crown chakra and the mental body thousand-petaled lotus. The Fans of Pharaoh originate in the atomic mental body and are the lotus petals’ antennae to reach Divine Mind. The fans first started to grow in the ascending Elect in 1936. They arise from a single eleven-petaled lotus, centered in the pituitary, pineal and the frontal lobes of the brain. They emerge centered at the brow chakra on the forehead above the nose and appear as a horizontal figure-eight.

The roots of the fans begin growing from the center of the pineal and pituitary to fasten in the midbrain when we begin to study and obey Law. When the roots fill the midbrain, they grow back below the ears to curl in the parathyroid glands, which can bring an exhilaration of illumination; to what extent depends upon you. When the roots of the fans begin to grow, we seldom lose that person in our work. Some souls come with their fans already rooted in the midbrain but dormant; awakening them is just as difficult as growing them anew, but it can retrieve the information you need.

Later the fans grow to the ears under the "piano strips" [organs of Corti]. The root of the fan is at the center, left of the piano strip. These strips are wired with nerves that are covered with little bumps, which form octaves and set the life rhythm chord. The fans emerge from the skull above the ears, separate into eleven tiny stems, grow upward and produce a whirling sun on the end of each petal. The petals are shaped like peacock feathers of Light. When the fans have grown up on the head, they rise and lock to protect the golden bowl. However, if you lock them to escape hurt, the wrong motive makes it difficult to open them. When a harmful vibration approaches, the fans fall over the head like a helmet of protection.

If you are upset, in a "tizzy" of annoyance from a subsoul block when you leave your body at night, your lotus petals are closed when you leave and you do not contact God. The force you used when you left your body will make you feel dizzy the next morning because you cannot reenter properly with the lotus petals closed. You can dangle for weeks like a zombie. You enter properly only when you love God enough.

Keep these fans open. Before going to sleep at night, declare that the Power of the Living God moves through and inflates all your atoms. See an angel with a flaming sword in the corners of your bedroom, by the doors and before the windows. Dome your house with Light, blanket your property with Light.
