You must rid yourself of a very deeply buried clawing, clutching tentacle like an obstruction in your conscious and unconscious attitudes, and thinking that pain has dulled your brain cells. Your main statement to self is, "I can’t think any more because I have so much pain." That is your statement, not God’s. It is a lie! Why? If you don’t need brain cells, why bother at all? There is no answer to it. The right answer is pure laziness, hoping to skim through on credits, and that someone will do it for you.

When you allow your subconscious mind and the debts you owe God to rule you, it takes more guts than you evidently have to conquer it. You can conquer anything where there is desire to conquer. You must work conquering in 24-hour shifts. It cannot be done for you.

The reaction of Law is more violent. It is a sign of self you do not want to give up, but are seeking a way out. You have the answer inside you. The Law will initiate you each time, again and again.

What plan is this if you start the day with the idea that the day is so long and you have so much to do, "shall I ever get through it?" "This is the Day the Lord hath made and I shall be free. I shall not miss a trick. I shall have all brain cells awake and alive every minute of this day." Use this with your I AM statements, or you will fall below the skull and bump the skull.

Your trouble is rooted in a lack of Desire for God above all things. You do not know when you are in need, down in the mud. It takes only one word, a thought, an instant when your Guards may lift you up before you sink low into self.

Your responsibility is always increasing. As the Power comes through, the heat of your Desire should increase. It is not good enough if God comes second to your needs. God must come first! You are lax in watchfulness and attention to details.

Headache pain never strikes you until you have closed the lotus petals and sunk beneath your skull. The brain cells and your head cannot then stand the high Power. The battle begins – one you have fought, and ever staged by self! When you stay up where the Glory is, obedient to Law, there is no need for pain! Sometime, here or in another lifetime, you will conquer it. It is unthinkable that you should choose this! It is delay in the Plan of Ascension that causes pain, for when the Shekinah Glory is pouring through, there can be only perfection. All shall be perfect when your surrender is complete!

You can do a thousand things one at a time, but not one thing robbing another. I cannot impress it upon you enough. Undertake a study of responsibility, what it is, what it covers, what it means. It is a large subject.

Some whom Edna Miriam undertook to lift have made it, yet many found their "but." Others could take responsibility. The Father tells her to "let go" when one of her own puts on her a burden too great to bear. She must loose them and let them quit. When she finds someone blundering, she asks "What is the Law on that?" That one has forgotten the Law! It is time to let go. Edna Miriam shall not put a burden on us too great to bear.

"You can do a thousand things at a time, but not one thing robbing another." When you can think in split thoughts (half your consciousness on yours and half on another) you are robbing time. Put all of you into everything you do about the one task. A thousand pictures and plans are "on parade" over there while you are working down here. Turn it off and do the task at hand. Everyone is in the hardest place the Father can put him to learn his lessons. Do one thing at a time. "This one thing I do now."

If you have a pet peeve against God, write it out and mail it with a match!

Science has found that nothing can disappear "without a trace." Nature does not know extinction; all it knows is transformation.

When you use compassion, you are not thinking of self. Compassion is the Love of God going forth. When you use what you think is compassion, and it returns as less, you are not using compassion. There are no problems in the world, just people inadequate to handle the situation. Stand! For you never know when you are the one to hold earth and all creation for the Father. You could stand all the time up there; a part of you can kneel before the Throne seeing God, His Face, serving Him while working here. The purpose of the subconscious is to take care of outer details when it is "on the beam." Do not clog your brain cells!

There is no waiting out here, only busy-ness in our use of time. All is "waiting upon the Lord." A good waiter is keen, alive, alert and always paying attention here and now. Use time for something, not fussing about tomorrow. Wait upon the Lord for the Law to act upon you.

The third level is soul consciousness, applying and administering Law and God as Principle here and now. Review Psalm 1:48 and Psalm 8.

Whenever you put a cigarette in your mouth, another anchor line moves into the earth. Have no guilt about smoking, but no self-indulgence either. Never unconsciously use them. The Law is the Law. Bless every cigarette and pray harder than at all other times – one day you will forget the habit.

When one ascends under a high sacrifice of self, one has a choice. This is Law. One chooses the way he will go. The first choice is to hold to that high point of contemplation, which is full Illumination, and hold despite everything, the world, the flesh and the devil! The other choice is to want credit for this saintly sacrifice of self to do one’s clear and only possible duty – to demand credit for it and so sink into the morass and quicksand of self-pity, frustration and that hopeless attitude of "what’s the use? It isn’t my fault. They can’t blame me for doing it. I’m hindered because . . ." When one makes this high sacrifice, one is invited to choose and step onto the pathway of the Creator gods. To forget self is the Path of Destiny. To deny it, even slightly, with even a tinge of self, one falls back into the abyss where the path of fate travels.

This study is the Fundamental way to learn Principle and the practical application through personal Laws you unfold for yourself and let work in your daily life.

Of course, it is a study of the Bible, our source is the King James Version and the Aquarian Gospel, and time – your time! We take each episode from the four Gospels, one story at a time, and read it in all four, if it is there. Some stories run through the four, some through two or three, and some you find in only one Book. The Aquarian Gospel is the history of Jesus from his birth to the Ascension. It is written under the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. It explains each parable and gives a fill-in on the background of Jesus’ teachings. So, study comparatively, using said about the few verses in the Gospels. It enlarges upon and gives Law to go with the Gospel.

At the same time, use Psalm 119, which is also under the 22 Hebrew letters. Ponder the statements of Law found in each section, and seek to comprehend what the Laws can mean to you. Each section of Psalm 119 has eight verses for Power! Each night, read it over, one section to go with the same section in the Aquarian Gospel, and know Power is being released through you to move into your affairs and create energy in your whole life.

The Stronger the Light-Power-Substance of Love using you, the more darkness is loosed to come to the surface of earth as a planet, through the nations, and also from your most loved ones. Be prepared to quickly lift such disturbances.

Be aware, however, of tuning in on any manner of darkness for even an instant! Light cannot protect willful disobedience to this Law of declaring everything GOOD!

Use the alphabet and do an acrostic set of what the Bible says on love. Use both Old and New Testaments. Search! Not just using references given anywhere. Read the verses before and after the verse you chose. Sample:

Your Oversoul storage Stars have been filled to overflowing with Creative Substance for new bodies and affairs, with Power and Love to fulfill the Law of your desires, each according to the time you have apportioned to give God, the Father. If you have been faithful, the full opening of your ability to live on all three levels of your life is yours: subsoul, egoic soul and Oversoul. You have a new line of Light direct to the Holy Supreme Source. What you do with it depends upon you – how you exercise it, how much time you take to peer through the Golden Light.

To Principle has been given the power to become. To substance has been given the power to become. To the ego has been given the power of direction and control. That is the Mystery of Creation. Ponder on the above during the forty days of Ascension. Substance is the Holy Breath. All the Power of Heaven pouring through us in these days of Ascension. What is your next vision? Walk earth as a Creator god for the next forty days. Will you dare to walk as a Creator and release full Power?

The work this Ascension time is to lift, Lift, LIFT. Also, use these statements after prayers and decrees: "My Father worketh hitherto. My Father, He doeth all the work now! I thank You. I thank You. I thank You, for I have nothing to do except thank and rejoice that my Father worketh hither, too!"

"My Father worketh hitherto" means "my Father is doing all the work."

An initiation consists in an Illumination or a vision to achieve a higher goal, praying and recognition of the Law and what we must surrender. A new vision demands of us that we throw out more ballast of self so we can go higher, then make the vow to practice the new Law. After a time allowed us to free ourselves, we think, "Now I’ve got it. I’ll never do that again." Then the test to prove our words comes. If we find ourselves eating our words, it’s our sign that we haven’t quite got it yet entirely.

We go on after falling flat on our faces and telling God how mean He is! We strike out again and face the three temptations on the misuse of Substance, Mind and Power in very subtle ways. All our petty demonstrations of "I will" and "I won’t," and every boast we have ever made confronts us, because we are scraping clean all our taints of past lives.

An examination before an Altar follows the temptation. A cowled figure questions you searchingly. If we waver from the depth of our heart’s devotion, a flame rises on the Altar, its color reflecting the area in question. Mental service alone gets you to the questioning. If you give just lip service, no flame arises and the verdict is that you lack the credits to redeem robes and crown, but must send up more Love Substance.

If we love God enough, it causes the flames to rise and they advance us on credit. That’s why Initiations take so long to complete: If we gain 70 percent of the credits, we may advance that far, but must make up the remaining credits in further Initiation along the same lines.

We are now picking up the credits advanced. Once these are lifted there will be less chance of slipping from exaltation of soul. As long as there is indebtedness to Law awaiting payment from the individual, it is like an anchor dragging. If it strikes a rock, it throws the individual flat for a time. Where there is no dragging anchor of debt, there is no chance for the challenge of life to pull you down, when you remember this.

If there is an inclination to be pulled, stand upright facing East, raise your hands and declare that Love goes forth and melts the rock. There need be nothing more specific than that for Light shall direct the Love to whatever the rock is, acts, words from individuals, hardness of heart, criticism or condemnation, use of the lash. Whatever it may be, Light will direct Power of Love upon it, and what can withstand the full Power of God’s Almighty Love?!

There comes a point when you cannot, just by speaking a word from the outside, be individually healed. Cells, organs and glands outside the golden bowl can be healed by a healer and the spoken word of the healer, and the right Councils, under whose development the healed one came forth, can name and number the new lifesparks to form new cellular tissue – but the golden bowl is different and can be restored only with the consent of the one to be healed. In order to have the individual’s consent, the healer must lift, pray, hold and declare for the healing, for the open eyes, open ears, the surrender to God the Father.

When you ask God to send someone from their body (to let them die), all it does is to extend their lifeline automatically.

Maintain your cosmic comprehension. Ask, "What can I do for God in this situation? Not, "What’s going to happen?"

Pentecost brings us into one great vibration of Love. The release of Power now, as compared with Jesus’ time, is like comparing a jet plane with a camel; the Power released now is that much greater.

True love is the only integrative power that can establish your identity with God. Prayer holds your identity, your oneness with God. If enough people pray as Creators to work out God’s ideas in love, they save the world from crisis. Let us establish our personal identity with God to lift the whole world. The Power released now, as compared with Jesus’ time, is like contrasting a jet plane with a camel, it is that much greater.

You attend religious services to renew your identity for the rest of the week, so attend with devotion. Ritual sets a keynote for the week. Prayers of devotion do this, too. Prayer holds your identity, your oneness with God. Only love can establish your identity with God. True love is the only integrative power. If enough people pray as creators to work out God’s idea in love, they save the world from crisis. Let us establish our personal identity with God today to lift the whole city, the whole world.

You go to church to renew your identity for the rest of the week. You do it with devotion. Our ritual acts as a keynote for the week. Prayer of devotion does this. Hold your identity with God, your oneness with God. Only love establishes your identity with God. Let us establish our personal identity with God to lift the whole world.

Worldwide political conflict and chaos mean that prophecy is being fulfilled. Every delay in the Cold War means warmongers have less power and God has more time. Communist factions are agitating racial and economic questions everywhere while they fight among themselves to become the chief Communist faction in the world. Ethnic and religious factions are fighting each other. This is why no one wins.

Wars and rumors of wars are fulfilling prophecies. Many prophecies are almost fulfilled. The "bride going to the bridegroom" means that Love is ascending into Wisdom’s vibration; the religion of the First and Only Begotten Son of God will absorb other religions. Atheistic communism cannot break religion, so it tries to subvert it. Declare that the heart of peace movements cannot be fooled or turned by soft words. The worship of One God will live forever. We are on God’s side; He has never failed in any age. He waits just so long then cuts off evil.

As a nation, we want to be left alone. We don’t want to control other nations. We stand in honor, yet we are our brothers’ keepers. Ten thousand vibrations impinge on us right now. We don’t just hear voices over radio and TV. The vibration of every voice circle the world, so we must watch our words and tones of voice that only harmony goes forth, not disharmony. Sensitive individuals are either lifted or flattened by propaganda. Prayer is propaganda. What propaganda do you broadcast?

The state of the world and the lifting of war depends on those who can stand up and say, "This is good." Love is lifting it higher. When you pray in love, then you are the kind of person for whom God can answer prayer.

Keep holding everyone up in the Light. We each one need to receive protective Light through words sent forth by another. It increases the strength of repulsion in the auric sheath. Keep on.

You must stand until you love enough, for Love is a fire that melts away the sheath, giving lightness to ascend. Giving more love is the only way to increase Light from above. Compassionate Love that is firm, yet all glowing and energetic demonstrates this.

Energy oozes out when one indulges too much or pampers the self with rest. Beyond a point, rest debilitates because the vibration dies too low. One must learn to balance the outflow of energy with the inflow, holding them in balance at certain levels. Conquering consists of this. Each level of Initiation requires that we re-coordinate the physical, mental, emotional, soulual and spiritual contact. You must get vigorous with yourself on lukewarmness.

The Oversoul Star is a great storehouse that duplicates the soul of each. God gave each a Star in the beginning. We must hold fast each day to a definite balance to coordinate Power, Mind and Desires. Sometimes desires lead one into an excess of activity that depletes the atomic body to a point where the Power is detrimental, weakness results or you experience a recurrence of limitations long since conquered.

Recharging the Star is one of the most important exercises for a Son or Daughter of God to make. This keeps the crown open, the chakras, lotus centers and the five-pointed Star all exactly centered and attached to the silver cord. Off-center, it causes migraines, confusion and under stress the skull actually swells. When cord and centers mis-align, it causes the Power to slip, and the medulla to swell. The golden bowl becomes a mixture of confusion. Reach for the stars and use the rag doll exercise.

Method for studying Law: You never ask why. Use, "What do I use to lift this?" A Law applies to every episode in life.

There is a difference between a just appraisal, suspicion, criticism and analysis. In analysis, you can still be critical, condemning and intensely personal. Our own opinions and prejudices are involved always, and one goes on to analysis as self-gratification and congratulation over self-satisfying insight.

Under suspicion, one creates the thing of which one is suspicious (I have the name, I might as well play the game). Under criticism, one creates a black cloud of blame over the one criticized and passing judgment holds both in bondage until the criticizer pays the debt. The last thing forgiven is found where one has criticized unjustly. This means an acknowledgment of self-delusion. You cannot forgive another person until you forgive yourself. We do not like to admit we have deluded ourselves. We cannot be gullible about surface things. If personality stands between you and Father, you are blind. A just appraisal should be:

When you have broken a Law or have fears, you call upon Light to envelop the dark clouds around yourself. To cut off a person’s vibration of darkness, exalt that person. Then declare a Sphere of Fire at your own front door, and walls of fire around the person with the dark vibration. When the people we have lifted onto clouds have dirtied up those clouds, we must lift them onto higher, clean clouds.

The love you give is the deposit you make in the universal credit bank. This is your drawing account and the only one you have. Wrap people in your love – you can’t love enough.

Recharging from the Oversoul Star is essential to keeping the crown open and chakras working properly. Lines to all vehicles (physical, desire, mental and spiritual, are bound in a "knot," exactly centered under the Star. The pressures and tensions of worldly activities can uncenter these different bodies and cause headaches, causing nerves in the head to pulse and react at an abnormal rete of vibration, some slowing, some speeding according to the day’s mental work. This can cause confusion, unbearable swelling, pain and distress. Reach for the stars! Use the rag doll and angel wings exercises.

Self clings and it is subtle, and it cannot seek sympathy or understanding on the outside. It will be easy enough when you hold fast to the fact no self-justification is legal. Never! Clamp your teeth on your tongue for such.

You analyze how others love you and you them. Analyze what love really is, what Love of God is through you. How can you analyze any lesser love when you are giving the Love of God? Why do you fear losing love? This fear is caused by a love that is demanding to the self!

Do not work for patience. It is silly. Work for compassion. Each one has a certain capacity for Love and Power to use. If that capacity is filled with self, how can Power work?

What do all those who gather together in one room, to seek, receive in one degree or another? Illumination. How much Illumination do they receive? According to their fervency of their desire and surrender. How and when can they see where they have blundered or been mistaken? How much Illumination will they receive from mistakes and blunder? As the Light moves through, as you observe and pay attention, through praise come the gifts of "seeing" and "hearing."

As Light shines before you, the shadow of your past will be upon it for you to lift without asking. It will be there. You cannot make a mistake without casting a shadow before you somewhere, if you are in the Light! If you are not in the Light, then the present darkness adds itself to the shadow cast by the past and you become enveloped in a heavy cloud of darkness. You wonder where God is!

When you see the shadow, what do you do? You go higher and up past it. Even if you don’t see the cause of the episode, you put it up before the Altar as incense to be lifted. Observation on earth is the opposite pole of Illumination. Where, how, when does it happen? "Like a thief in the night." You can see the shadow cast by lack of observation in the now! You know it when you get your ears pinned back so hard you know you’ve "been had" and are "caught out."

The great need now is complete coordination of all Laws into a whole useable formula now! Unless you declare it "good," you are anchored and cannot move onward! Let the words of your mouth follow the meditations of your soul, not "this is what I meant. I didn’t mean that." When you need an answer, go up! Don’t stop and "think about" what you want to say. Ascend into the Light and Illumination will put words you never knew before on your lips. The second you look up is it! Stop "thinking about it." Move up into the Light. The time you "think" is in the Light. Look around up in the Light at such mysteries, glories and beauties yet unborn!

The only treatment there is, is the Light! See the Light! The Light is there, great and glorious; all it needs is someone to see it. The Father said: "Let there be Light." We must see it first. Ascend into the Light. See the Light; be the Light in surrender. Then see a great sphere around the one you are treating. Surround him with walls of fire for protection. Don’t see the danger, see the Light, then declare it so. Light comes first, always.

The sun centers of Light over a person are the seven chakras, which follow God’s plan as He created us. When treating a person, who does not know about chakras, call them sun centers of Light. This captures his imagination so he can see the Light and not his affliction or imperfection. Declare that each organ, vein, artery and so forth is coated with Light inside and out. To create a picture for the person being treated. You see all Light from above. If he needs to speak of the details about his physical, let him, to get it out of his subconscious. If you deny his expression, he represses it and continues. As he speaks it, you see it as Light and perfection. Declare it so. Light and Love is all that is necessary for treatments and life itself. Love God first and always. See the Light! Speak "Let" before all your spoken words because you know that "the Father, He does all the works now. My Father works hitherto."

Judging a person’s potential is different than justly appraising his ability to perform. We pay a debt for holding another to his vision level, rather than to his appraisal level.

In 1926, Edna Miriam and Dr. Boyd were at the Unity Center in El Paso, Texas. A tall businessman came, sat in the front row and asked for laying on of hands. Dr. Boyd usually lay on hands for 50, followed by a general prayer. Instead he stepped down, laid hands on this man and said "the Finger of God would be laid on him." Edna Miriam then knew that the right way to heal was individually.

We took it on ourselves to get into earth’s dirt. Only love could cleanse all evil. Wisdom could only wipe it out, it would start again and still need to be conquered. We had to move among men to scatter, lift and conquer evil. Darkness cannot exist where Light is. Darkness cannot fight Light. Edna Miriam’s work is to transform violent hate into beautiful lines of Light.

Light is the great Principle that works as the lesser Principles of Color, Tone, Number, Name (spoken word) and Form. Your consciousness decides what to take into the Silence. Take only your devotion and love of God into the Light for healing, not the condition! Light comes from many lesser sources, so you must break through all ceilings to the highest Light. If you want a miracle instantly, go to the high Light; do not go into your skull and get lost.

Light is an ecstasy without definition! We are instruments for the release of Power. We release all its parts and attributes (Love, Wisdom and the Holy Ghost) into the outer at once. We reach many levels of consciousness, for Heaven has many degrees. You can have Illumination and remain cold. Love is the magnetic ray; Wisdom is the etheric ray. Only by breaking through all barriers can Light do its perfect work at once.

Light is above joy, which is still an outer state of consciousness. Joy is a soul quality, an anticipating quality of the soul. When you ascend into the light, you have this ecstasy of soul. You must ascend to it, for it descends only as and through you. Light’s ecstasy must saturate you before you can bring it back as pure, absolute Light, otherwise it is only relative. You can be joyous, devotional and faithful; even a savage can have faith in a stone image! When you pray for something beyond the self, you are in Light. There are lesser and greater lights; you can go beyond the Sun. When you enter the full Light, then Light is all you know.

You put the need or person on a cloud of Light with your spoken word (Form), but you must ascend beyond Number to achieve the ecstasy of Tone and Color. When your entire consciousness is simply joyous praise of God, you are in the Light! You live on the 5th breath while in the Light.

Conflict tears down the body. The body can be light, free and glorious only when your consciousness is in harmony with God. You are still in conflict if you still care about what the world thinks of you – after all, your Father’s opinion is all that matters! The simplest conflict tears down your body because your weak spot will react to it. All illness is caused by inner conflict, mainly opinions, prejudices, doubts, fears, criticism and condemnation of self, most of all. Resentment will wear you out and cause holes in your desire body faster than anything. If you go over while still resenting, you rapidly use up your credits. Then you must incarnate because your negatives hold you below the Gates of Light! Many blame God that they must work in Heaven!

Since medical geriatrics has begun holding the aged in their bodies, the population explosion has resulted. This is not at all as it should be; many who think they are doing a great work in life extension will be required to work in the healing places on the inner.

The Kingdom of Heaven is open to all believers, not part-time but always. Self-blame is a curse against God.

Never be satisfied that you are high enough. Think not of earth-forms, but of Light, white shot with gold, formless and void, ready to come forth with blessings.

Check on Laws, observation is the first one. Second, acceptance. Observation on earth to miss nothing is the opposite pole of Illumination on the inner. How do you treat for any personal mistakes? Stand in the Light. Let the Light be so bright that any shadows of the past will be blots upon the light to be lifted. If not in the Light, past shadows but add to the darkness of today’s clouds.

Go over all Laws for flaws in your present formulas for living. Check and recheck yourself for flaws and taints without wasting time, by standing in the light, loving more. Allowing the taints to show themselves. Then lifting them and praising that they are erasing.

Recreation, remaking the body can be in an instant, weeks or months according to the block-limitations in mind and heart. It takes much time to erase habit patterns, but there is no limitation of the recreation in a body. Let it be so!

Let us once and for all wipe out past scores and begin a new this day! The one idea of perfection must o’ershadow and wipe out all ideas of limitation. The only way this can be done is to never allow the subsoul "servant in the house" to dictate what the body shall be, and something besides just enduring the pain must be established. Pain must be endured in joy and declared perfect in joy with an uplifted look and heart.

Orthodoxy has trained us to make petitions to the Lord. We would cover them with praise and have no more petitions. (Praise, Light, love and joy heal and protect!) Lift the petitions forever!

We have free choice, and we must have room to expand under free choice. We create about ourselves and area of choice, the size of our giving in prayer. This creates a wall that no outer vibration can penetrate, unless we open a line of criticism against another. No one can enter or break through the wall unless you open a valve. Nothing can push the wall in on you. This is your base of operations.

Outside interference can enter on your rebellion, irritation and resentment. Self pity and self righteousness run the race to breech the greatest hole in the wall. We let our loved ones swat us, and breach the wall. When we depend on them and expect their love, appreciation and understanding, and what we want doesn’t happen, our wall is smashed, it seems to fall in on us. We seem to suffocate.

If you are hurt, your aura feels it and must be cleansed. If another criticizes you and you speak about how he hurt you, you stamp your Color, Tone, Number and Name on his aura. You find your own claw marks of criticism. That is why it takes some so long to die, especially the good gossips who have cleansed so many auras. Think how hard it is for the roving Guards to gather the substance stamped on all those auras.

The great Power we invoke is outside our personal area of service. If we love God enough, and haven’t held the attitude of "I’m through with this," we create a tough dimension around our aura. We can create this sheath when we know a vibration is finished, if we have given all the love we have. Lift them up, see Light upon them and see them free. "I love God and free you." High spiritual Power is always ready to go forth unless the wall you put up is too thick. When you free a person to go his own way, you feel as though a great burden has dropped. The Power rushes in and you are absolutely soft and malleable to the Love of God.

God never binds us, but gives us this marvelous area for free choice within His Everlasting Arms. You must base your choices in honor and integrity of soul. When a karmic cloud approaches, four great Principles go into action: Suction, Expansion, Attraction and Repulsion. Suction draws the Power for you to expand. The auric sphere contracts and repels darkness. The secret is obedience to all Law always. Never be asleep. Stay alive, alert and pay all consideration.

Her dad and Dr. Boyd pinned Edna Miriam’s ears back and said, "You can’t hide anything." Her mother said that what you whisper in the basement is shouted from the rooftops. Dr. Boyd used a big hat pin on her in class, and questioned her, as it happened, in front of people. One evening while Dr. Boyd was giving a sermon, something she had brought through amused her. Thank God for the disciplining. The greatest of all is to love God enough to want to be perfect. Thank God when others trim your sails. Take everything that comes as help to make you more perfect. Be alert and never miss a trick or the details, ever. If Edna Miriam sees something and tells you about it, it is nothing to her, but being it is necessary for us. God works everything together for good and we all learn as we come along.

How little of the Power of Abraham have we known. It is hard to give up your firstborn, Isaac, your opinions. They give us this area of adjustment, and we can either go to sleep on the job or come alive.

There are two kinds of martyrs: The sweet open-faced kinds, who get what they want in their own way, and the good haters, who resent and are critical of everything, the ugly hag kind.

The Almighty Power holds us safe within an encompassing area great enough for our freedom of choice. That is why the question can be raised, "Why didn’t God protect me?" It could interfere with the free will-choice of an ego to step inside of the area of practice, and may not be done.

All of the Power, Energy and ideas are bombarding the walls of this area to aid, lift, comfort and protect, but the choice of the ego must truly be free in every way and they must invoke the aid. This is, of course, before the complete acceptance of the fullness of the responsibility and the full desire to be completely obedient to Law.

Once complete acceptance and obedience to the Crown have become part of the ego’s expression, there is no barrier, for no practice area is needed. Light operates instantly and all protection is instant. This is why learning obedience is so important. Unless one practices obedience in small and simple ways, the desire to be obedient over a large issue will be nil. Out of nothing, comes nothing.

All that Father has is ours to use. It is illegal to break through another’s barrier with force, though one’s heart yearns to be of assistance.

Stay up in observation! To be all-seeing and all-hearing (all acceptance) is to be our motto now! Today opens the new vibration for the New Age. Everything is now times according to the clock of the universe (comprehension in action). When you are in the All-seeing Eye, you see all and hear all. This is where you should be. Anything less is a dull spot of self. Why should you have a dull spot in your "Mind of God." Every cell, molecule and atom is Light; accept this. Nothing should be less than Light. All is a matter of acceptance only.

Spirit is God’s Mind as Substance, all perfect as God through individual spirit, mind and the body cells. All that is needed is acceptance and surrender to be. We need no dull spots when our mind is the Mind of God. Put God first and always. Anything else is of the self, hence, the blocks. Do not discount God’s perfection by bringing self upon it.

We sometimes seem unable to bring through what they give at night. In some cases, a barrier still exists between the person and the full comprehension of what is told above in classes. The individual needs to move UP from the intellectual to the spiritual.

Intellect and pride are barriers that foster the other end of the pole, a sense of inferiority and inadequacy because the person is by pattern, not of need, established in certain opinions and prejudices as to how much work he must do and rigid ideas of how long it will take. It is true that there is necessity for preparation. It is the foundation idea of preparing, and grinding frustration of time, and how time has gone, underlying the self for its bringing through from above the work given the night before.

There is the need to train and discipline one’s self every hour and to impress the brain cells with every detail of one’s life. He will do the same thing in the same way for habit in his living, but it is good to do the same thing in a different and more efficient way as well.

Time, circumstances, situations and people will break in on the established customs and habits, and this one must accept graciously and return in an instant’s time and begin where he left off. One must not allow himself to voice silly needless questions! That is not disciplining self. One must discipline self and mind so senility does not come creeping up.

Lack of consciousness of what one are doing is the lack of applying Laws as one knows them. Attention to detail must be paid so one can uphold the lines of the universe! It is stupid to let anything endanger one’s self or others. Attention, plan ahead, have consideration and alertness. We need brain cells where we are going, up. We must be rigid and discipline ourselves into perfection. Otherwise, the Queen pays the debt for all. Put the whole of thyself into every step. Move up and do the right thing. Do the next thing next. Do not let go of the above.

What are the component parts of observation? (I was remiss on this, and took a long time to answer.) Logic, Reason, Discretion, Discrimination and Discernment.

Aspiration is the savage’s first upward glance; it is instinctive intelligence. Wanting is the second step and tied to "human nature." Wanting is the "gimmes" – give me this or give me that. Once you’ve had observation from the Holy of Holies, you do not remain in the "want" class ("but I want to have it, I want to be it"). This is no good! "I’m sorry" is in the "want" class. "I’m sorry" belongs to the grade of man’s relationship to man in the world. The greatest sign of a lowered vibration is lack of consideration, thinking of "me." Look around to see if someone is neglected, in need, or if you are dropping a line.

Watch your step and your tone of voice to hold yourself from becoming dictatorial and a "know it all." Do everything in love only. Never reprimand another unless ordered to do so from above. Use the dulcet tones and God will be behind you and do the work.

A declaration is nothing but an intention of Desire. Get busy and do it! Use "I shall endeavor," not "I’ll try." Just to try means you are resting and falling into horizontal Thinking, Imagination and Desire. It can be very wearisome on the horizontal. To "rest" means to rest from thinking, emotions and imagination.

Observation is a Law with five component parts: Logic, Reason, Discretion, Discrimination and Discernment, the five Laws that equal Understanding. We must apply each of these five faculties simultaneously as a constant process in everything we do, and observation then becomes an instantaneous act. We must observe to avoid blunders.

When we forget to be alive, alert and aware or allow a negative to come in on the 5th breath, the negative becomes our dividend when we breathe and ascend. Train yourself to be aware of the instant a negative enters. Going up is putting your finger in the dike. One hole in the dike is criticism, which your personal stencil stamped on another’s aura. You must erase it yourself. Self-criticism burns holes in our auras. Our abyss of self to cross is, "Oh, I didn’t mean it!" All Laws are broken on this one.

There have been ample Laws and admonitions not to sleep anytime. Your bodies shall rest while you are in heaven at night. You do not go to bed to lose consciousness. You give the body a chance to be vitalized, refreshed, to put the body in a position for no strain, have hearts renewed, organs cleansed and so forth. You must take your consciousness with you! Say, "Here is my body: Arrange it, lift it, fill it, hold it and heal it while I am conscious with Thee, Father." This is the way to achieve consciousness on three levels at once!

Grasp every opportunity to watch the self. When another makes a false statement, "wait" to give the answer, watch all about you for the right answer, and rectify his answer only when necessary. Remain up in head and heart, so that life, Light and Glory may fill your heart. You shall recall all Law instantly, and never lose sight of the five great parts of observation (Logic, Reason, Discretion, Discrimination and Discernment).

The lessons Edna Miriam has given us are magnificent enough to carry us to the highest Thrones. Appreciation is necessary to hold it. Lack of appreciation causes more sleep! This is the second death, to forget Law! You have all the tools. You have all the equipment of God with which the Father has endowed you. How shall it be used? To poverty or to Glory? Watch! Reach to the stars and see glories come to pass!

Cease blaming anyone! How can you reach, hold your point high and blame? One little point of blame puts you on the bottom. "Judge not lest ye be judged." Would you have success? How can you have success and blame in the same basket? It is a matter of choice. How long shall you blame and create more debts for self-indulgence? Stand blameless!

"What is that to thee? Follow thou me" and "it shall not come nigh thy dwelling," and you will stand blameless before the Throne. You cannot serve two masters. A moment of darkness is enough to send you to the bottom. What is your desire? Hold!

Hold to your true desires. Pay no attention to the world’s dry rot or rottenness. Slanderers say you have failed because of their failure in the world. Stand upright and see if there are not blessings greater than you have imagined or have room to receive.

"Let the White Light of the Christ surround me now, and radiating out, it dissolves, dissipates and eliminates every adverse thought, idea, condition, emotion and personality. I stand free in the Light of Truth. I am free with the freedom of Spirit, manifesting my divinity now. I leaned on my God and His strength was sufficient for me."

Four together in prayer, in perfect rhythm, can conquer 1,000,000 enemies. Ritual is to bring our scattered selves into one place under one vibration, and add our missing parts, left around at home and work.

We invoke Power from Source to consume darkness. Wisdom, Love and Energy don’t act alone. They are invoked and follow whatever pattern is declared. "Love is a fire that ever burns higher, ever brighter, always upward." That is Love and Joy.

The world calls women "vessels." A vessel is always running empty and going somewhere to be refilled. God plays upon an instrument, which is always ready to be used. We can’t be "almost-hardlys." We must release Power 24 hours a day to save earth. No matter what our personal problems, we, as instruments, can save humanity. We are irresistible in our power to enfold when we are up and our love is for God and not for self.

It is a shame when one is sure one has the only way of truth, because it diminishes credits. The treatment is to perform the rotary motion over the brain cells.

A better word for "try" is "endeavor."

The way to treat those who call you names: "Come on up and get your face washed." "This is good" brings a knife of Light to separate evil.

We have moderation in our relationships to everyone on the outer. We live in absolute morality in all that means God’s honor. Yet you cannot be "moderate" about principles that cover morality.

"True love counts no effort too great nor any task too hard or too long." What would words mean after that? "I can’t take anymore. I’ve had it." We can always take it one day longer than the thing on the outside. Make your own vow to God that you will welcome the new step.

To each, according to her desire, devotion and constancy, God empowers her to speak the word. The reason for such long delay in bestowing this Power and ability to set aside darkness has been the inconstancy of our devotion and desire. This Power rends and tears when accompanied by any manner of self. We must remember that Power turns and feeds upon itself when misused.

This is not a sad, sorrowful responsibility. Shekinah Glory contains all the joy, all the laughter and is the source of all good things. Shekinah Glory, stepped down under Law, is not only the source of joy – it is all the things: food, clothing, cars. There is only one Shekinah Glory.

Do not find fault with the Glory if you move out from under it to play the game of self with the self only. Remember, self is a game played by just one. No one plays with you. Each plays the game of self alone. The game of Ascension of soul we all play as one. The game of self leaves you imperfect of flesh and of self, but you are supported by all others when the soul takes charge. You are responsible, sifted and chosen as the most dependable.

We are on a divine escalator of Ascension. Move according to Law. Your escalator goes as far and as fast as you can reach in joy. If you talk about a miracle, you siphon the Power that should be going into new miracles.

Every time you release a nickel, it releases $5,000.

Be emphatic without force. A line is drawn between pure determination and force. If you are soft as putty, apologize for not being firm enough. If over-emphatic, apologize too. We must have balancing factors. One who gives Law becomes responsible for that Law.

We must always make a point of closing the gates behind us, lest it destroys today’s peace. Remember Lot’s wife, looking back to what she was leaving. You must cut off that personal past. Do not look back. Repentance and forgiveness help to close off the past.

"Straight is the gate that leads unto life and narrow is the gate that leads to destruction." The road to eternal life is a narrow road of discipline. Keeping up the disciplines. Eisenhower said, "freedom is the priceless opportunity for self discipline."

People ignore God. If we get in tune with God, we can open doors tomorrow that we could not today.

Do not speculate on anything when you are "seeing" perfection in another. If you divert the ray into idle speculation about what will happen, you cut the perfect vibration. This is why the old Masters would not allow two people to pray on one thing. In one breath, you can declare a perfect miracle and in the next fall into idle speculation. This has been an anchor on earth for many. Such idle speculation anchors our loved ones. Each must clean up the jungle he created by diverting the Power through wild speculation. Law: Don’t plan when, just have the "how" and the "what" ready.

The New Ten Commandments cover all the ways one can go wrong and all the ways to Illumination. The higher you move in Christed consciousness, the greater your comprehension of these Bible verses. All promises made will be fulfilled, but the Father must use the Power we release to fulfill the promises. It depends on your faith.

We shall see miracles in high places. Men in high places who have looked dark will look light. There will be healing among those who perpetrated evil because God the Father wants it that way, and because we, as obedient Sons and Daughters, back Him. Declare that all you see, read and hear is good. We do not wonder what is going to happen, we know.

Women must begin the crusade for world peace in the home, a meeting of the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Prayer Crusade for World Order and Peace was told yesterday afternoon at the YWCA in Franklin St.

The speaker was Dr. Edna Lister of Seattle, head of the Society of the Universal Living Christ, who is on a speaking tour of Eastern cities.

"Inner conflict is the cause of war," Dr. Lister said, "and it is up to us to sign a covenant with God." In a world where men are too busy, she said, women must do the work of God and must speak out for peace without a fear of ridicule.

Dr. Lister said that a lukewarm approach to faith and lack of love in the world can encourage evil to exist. She urged her listeners to become "barrier breakers" through prayer.

Dr. Lister suggested that women inaugurate facts committees, either in their groups or committees. Such committees, directed by civic leaders, would serve to refute Communist propaganda.

A member of the National League of Pen Women, Dr. Lister is a former President of the International New Thought Alliance.

Your path from Gethsemane to Golgotha has been a long one, seemingly never ending, uphill. Feet bruised, the cross greater than you could hold, and yet you have always accepted Divine Strength and gotten up and carried on. What I say to you has nothing to do with this faithfulness, strength and compassion with which you have faced the world and its needs.

Yet there is a lack that you must conquer now. You have used credits and your greatness of spirit and dauntless courage to cover small transgressions of your tongue. It has always been so. You have not piled up debts of blame, but when you reach a certain pinnacle, no debts can be covered by credits. You must conquer your tongue, which has often spoken detriments, what the world says about things and has many times dragged in past detriments unwisely. You have made Vows before the Altar to conquer, and you have just a little bit more of conquering to do.

Do not allow yourself to speak of the past with the one who recreates the old negativity, even in simple conversations. If she does, say, "That has nothing to do with the platform you stand on here." Do not say, "You are doing better." Say, "You are climbing. You have climbed. You are up. You start each day afresh, anew, you start each day higher."

No more negative statements about anyone. Are you in line with the Light or not? Plan that which you desire with all your mind and soul. Do not settle down, settle UP. Blessings.

When we really love, we do not measure it. A measured out love is adulterated. A measured out love is just "thinking about it." When you think you are giving love unworthily, you are "thinking about" love. The little bit of love that seeped through on that vibration is perfect. The only imperfection is thinking about it. Love is always worthy. Love can never be given unworthily. You can never love enough.

Love does not approve or disapprove. The more dark there is in the individual, the more surely he needs unadulterated love. If disapproval is given with love, it is so adulterated that no one is touched by it. Only the adulteration comes back to the one who gives that way. You can’t "think" love, but can only become love. Let us love God enough. Let love be your keynote. True love can’t take itself back, can’t stop giving or loving. You can’t take back what you have given freely in love. It is no longer yours, but belongs to the person to whom it was given. Love goes on and on, creating, even things, goes on paying dividends for eternity. If you loved a car, all the love poured out, up it goes, out into souls of other cars. Love from the universal storehouse goes on creating and filling molds eternally.

Righteous indignation is good, if you are righteous and cut off the indignation. Apply logic and reason to experience. When you say you love someone but fight him, you are not loving, but are doubting.

It is not the battle that is won that determines the future, it is what you do after you win. You are under an obligation to act as what you have become. You are unhappy if you do not keep your registered Vows.

If what you have given so far brings so much, look around and count what you have done. You are way up there as ensamples of conquering Power, and so it spreads out over the world. You have won, but the carnage after the battle must be cleaned up and the only way is according to your obedience to Light. Stand under the Light and be Light. At great expense and travail of soul to you, it has been given you, you all know this. You must help clean up the mess. You do not take it on in your bodies, but you live as the Light. What you create, you must lift. The reward is greater than you have room to receive.

As we cleanse subconscious prejudices and the last remaining old suggestions deposited in the brain cells, we lift them from the body to the angel with the censer. Declare that you have lifted everything from the subconscious to the censer to be consumed. Having what you want is different from doing what you please. Those who cannot take the pain, or lift the force necessary, stop burning away the silver cord. It is burned away only when we make sacrifices of self and accept the full responsibility for our share of lifting and the world’s accumulated force.

Make declarations at night that you want to be conscious of what you do above. "Let my brain cells open so I can be in knowledge of what I do."

Our word for healing goes around the world ten times faster than Light.

Declaration of Unquenchable Love: What do you use for a measuring rod when you inventory your love for God? You must have an inventory. Otherwise, you are lukewarm. "I have to clear my own mind on it before I can give a treatment." If you belong to that class, get out of it, because you are not inventorying your love day by day. When you are not conscious of being in the Light, where have you been? The inventory of your love should be used daily. It is your measuring rod. "You’ll be sorry" is a revenge idea, and there is no inventory of love here. Inventory yourself daily, moment by moment.

The capacity of your love and compassion determines your Ascension.

When religion catches up to science we will have no war.

God didn’t stop communicating with the Bible.

Wait in quiet and in confidence. Look neither right nor left, down nor back. Look to fulfillment. Our way is the Way of Light. Happy are you when you follow it. God does not ask of us blind acceptance, but He does expect an up acceptance, even if we accept "on approval."
