The Glory of the Lord has descended upon us. The Light moves through us and we shall achieve all things during the coming year. Everything we earnestly work for shall be given unto us, not what we "wait" for! Work. Service. Giving. Giving up of self.

You are now possessed by the limitless Power of the Almighty. You are now a full Agent of the White Light. You are now filled with all Glory. You are now walking into your open Door of Service of added things." Let’s go up!

To say that Power is increased seems an old statement, but it must be increased or we’d lose all gains. It takes twice as much Power in both quantity and quality to do the work needed by the Fathers as it did last year. Therefore, we must increase our devotion and our praise to meet the inner-outer needs.

The 12th Night of the Church is the 12th day after Christmas, which commemorates the manifestation of the Christ to the Magi. It is the Feast of the Epiphany. Our 12th Night is January 12. It is our Heavenly Spiritual New Year, the time when Scrolls of Destiny are presented, new service is set, changes are made. Also, those who are "Chosen" to release the Power on earth and in Heaven, the keynotes for our year’s service and expansion, the life-chords, our harmony vibrations, are reset. We are put "in tune" on 12th Night. Our nerves are actually tuned, exactly as we tune our musical instruments.

So we must be in a State of Grace, which is that attitude of acceptance, surrender, the Supreme Oversoul and Oversoul kneeling before high, Holy Thrones in reverence and awe, devotion and praise, while expressing joy and compassion to the world.

Prepared in love and devotion, you may have miracles in your lives. What are your desires for this year? What are your plans? Let them be vitalized and quickened now. Hold your thoughts upon perfection. Forget those things of the past. Gaze into the future of all Glory and then stand steadfast until all is fulfilled. Cut down no lines with the knife of self. Cut no lines either upward to your Father or into the outer to your new creations.

Take your time to live! Don’t be pushed by circumstances. Things will surely get hectic at times, but you can engineer it easily, if you remember always to stop, look and listen up before you speak or move! You let things hurry you! That’s all you have to watch! You have the Wisdom. You have the Love. You have the Desire. All you need is to conquer haste in speech and action.

Love enough covers every problem, coupled with good hard work to bring "things to pass."

People live emotionally. When someone comes to the door, I must have them in. When someone slams the door and goes out, we leave the door open. And when one returns – that is enough! Leave the one his pride! Do not rub his nose in it besides.

When you stay up in consciousness and love enough, you know through intuition, not as a "hunch." Just put it on a cloud and love, then batten down the hatches for a storm. Lift and treat, put crosses of Light on all the doors and windows. Foreknowledge will come early enough to lift everyone and you can have everything prepared so that it is no obstacle at all. You are aware and not taken by surprise!

Every enemy of Light is divinely restrained. Light absorbs darkness according to your faith. The only unworthy thing we do is to say we are unworthy. The only thing that matters is that we go one step higher every day. Take inventory and search your soul every night. You have no time for self. You have less time when you make a mistake. Why does it happen repeatedly? You have the Power turned off. I have no time to waste where I am. When anything happens, at once lift your hands high, reach for your own Star say, "Father, don’t let a line I have sag because I have made a mistake." Don’t stop and weep over anything, repent as you go up.

1. Reach for the stars, I arise, I ascend. I stand in the Heart of the Flame.
2. Take me. Lift me. Fill me. Hold me. Use me.
3. I rejoice and am glad.
4. Take seven deep breaths, arms up on the inhale, arms down on the exhale.
5. Make this statement with each breath: "Father, move in and possess me now."
6. See yourself on a cloud, with arms outstretched. Lift everything that concerns you onto a cloud.
7. At night, see yourself on cloud. Make yourself a five-pointed star (lying in bed, arms outstretched and legs spread). Take seven deep breaths, saying, "Let there be Light. I accept. I arise. I ascend. I am good. This is good. I stand in the Heart of the Fire, in the Heart of the Flame" (this is good for insomnia).
8. To lift karma that might be approaching, reach out with arms of Light and call on the Father. Reach out for everything on earth you can think of that needs lifting. Lift it onto a cloud, surround it with a pillar of Light. "Father, send forth Thy clouds of glory and banners of Light and draw in everything I have ever sent out by word, deed, desire, thought and picture, and let it be refashioned by Thee into new soul substance, to be added and used now."

Never have I met one with such desire to kill what you had to do by doing everything else! Your desire, terrific drive to do, channeled into housework, is slavery! When you do it from the top, you have no debt to pay, and no physical reaction. Seven hours of practice first, then sleep. You don’t need sleep first. You have misused Mind, Power and Substance, and misusing means sleep is necessary to replace, but it is not necessary when you put first things first!

Do not wallow in gossip! What difference does it make what they do? One must reach the point of never taking it as a personal slight or dart to overcome. If you take things personally or see the detriments first, you cannot avoid the grief and physical and desire body reactions that cause torn cells, like crushing the wings of a butterfly.

Edna Miriam again spoke of what surrender was. With pain, the tendency is to descend into the body. This is exactly the time to move up and say, "Move in Father. Possess me and move through. Use me now! I am Thine."

You cannot love God enough on treachery, only unity matters. Lift the contamination of all words spoken against and about others. Look up with no looking back!

Love enough will cover anything, anywhere. And anything can be healed. Anyone can be healed. God only needs one to stand. Let it be SO!

Job 22:27: "You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you and you will pay your Vows." Copy this and memorize it. Heed this. You will pay your Vows and remember that "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." The "all" includes all outer debts. Without this, you return to the first step on the ladder of Ascension. All may be re-earned by prayer, sacrifice of self and continuing to earn your way each day in devotion. Until you have paid all outer debts as a son or daughter of earth, you remain only a Neophyte. When you fail to live the Vows of a Priest, you must re-earn all lesser degrees.

By lack of appreciation of God’s gifts, we willfully and deliberately let it slip through our fingers by not keeping Vows and not assuming full responsibility. When anything is flouted, the flout-er goes clear to the bottom, for the gifts of God are not to be mocked by man and puny, futile puerile Vows that mean nothing before an Altar, that are broken in the next hour, deliberately, are less than the dust in content. The sum total of them is both a huge dark cloud forming an entity and a mighty hurricane of force buffeting the one who so flouts God! Easily made, repetitive Vows which mean nothing, except words that pacify the maker, mock and flout God, for behind them is no intent to be responsible for them.

The road back is hard, stony and full of obstacles. Each individual who turns so foolishly stupid into the things of self must tread it. Ascension awaits anyone who hungers and thirsts after it enough. The great question you face is, "Do I want God more than self?" Councils give you no sympathy or compassion. You are in a place of your own choice and making. You may wallow in it, seeking someone to lean on, or decide to choose and make a place of Glory. The Light is released for you to climb upon. You must reach for it.

One thought of self-pity and you have lost contact. You have played the years away, satisfying self. For every hour you have dreamed, you were playing, and the Law requires of you ten full hours of good hard labor! No one will do any of this for you. No one shall aid or succor you in your self-pity for loneliness, no one! You are alone with your God, your Vows, your choice, and from this there is no petitioning or release until every jot and tittle of Law is satisfied. It is a matter of choice now, up or down into retrogression. The Light to climb upon is ever within your reach, but you must always reach and hold it.

Say, "None of this moves me." Stand in the center of balance, where you are in command of emotions. Loose the others and let them go. See them as perfect, yet always see conditions as they are while holding others to the line. You do not "sell out" to anyone. You must stand dead center and hold your balance.

From this hour forth I shall spend my life doing and practicing on earth what the Law of God, the Faith of God, the full Honor of God and the full Loyalty to God dictates to me. Principle is the absolute, universal, unchangeable, inevitable, immutable, foundation upon which all universes are based and established.

A nervous breakdown is an escape complex, a deliberate turning from the Light. Every cell is a light bulb. You turn off the master switch of God’s Powerhouse and shut off the Power current from the nerve cells. Having "nerves" is an advanced form of egotism that forms a block in the medulla oblongata and results in pain. Mental illness causes disharmony in the physical cells. Healing results when Light moves in through the soothing circular movement of the hands.

The subconscious mind has 12 phases, and you know fear, illness, etc., until they are cleansed. The subconscious emotional mind is in the solar plexus. The photographic subconscious memory cells are in the head. A healed, lifted subconscious is a good servant. You lift the good subconscious memories first and they become part of soul. Good thoughts are ascended and added to soul experience. Each time you’ve been hurt or grieved, write it out, analyze your reactions then burn it to clean out the subconscious lines. The subconscious will work out your fears. Most of our difficulties stem from pride, opinions, prejudices. Opinions are born of mental willfulness. Prejudices are born of emotional rebellion. We get just what we have left after our deductions from complete love, such as resentments and criticisms.

Power will not tolerate misuse of itself. If you dare to misuse Power, it turns and rends you. You can’t climb a greased pole. You bounce back up. Love enough. There is always the hand and arm or hook of Light to hoist us up.

Every lifespark had to be numbered and named. When someone curses you and you curse them back, your lifesparks mingle with his and the result of that negative mingling is confusion. But when you lift in love the one who curses you, there is no mingling and his negativity is lifted. If you have cursed back, it takes much lifting in love later (having given him your soul substance and taken on his karma) until you are free and have your substance returned. It can only happen through loving enough.

The secret of an ascended body is loving enough to cause the original lifesparks of every electron, atom and molecule vibrate with the same fundamental, universal original Number and Name. Organs are determined by the numbers of electrons, atoms and molecules in their cells, but regardless of their number, they still have the same Number and Name vibration.

Personality is the Mother of Love. Principle is the Father of Wisdom. Universal Personality is carried in Light, Color and Tone, and when it takes on Form you have individual personality. Each Queen has universal Light, Color and Tone. Their parts that separate have individual Number, Name and Form.

You have the capacity to bring peace but it is as necessary to work on the world masses as it is on bodies. What are you going to do about it? You are going to love more. You are going to love enough and do just enough laundering of what is necessary to ascend earth.

All of you have cleansed much. You have comprehended what you thought you knew. Now you can apply the Law of what you know to what you do. You have raised the rate of vibration of each body cell and they cannot be touched. Only the unlifted subconscious bits can still be touched, the still weak spots.

Only universal mother love can comprehend the need to let things grow. Petty love can only push. But there must be balance. When the door opens even a bit, you must dare to do, to go through. Even if you knock something down, bone china opinions and prejudice, you must stop and pick them up through love. When you move into God’s timing of Love, you give each his time, declaring: "You are now my miracle."

As you ask another to have a courteous voice, your voice must have a universal quality of love.

Honor to God above all things. Agree and adjust, and draw each into the Light. Always consider how your acts will affect the Councils and your loved ones above. Sow the wind and you reap the whirlwind.

Are you ready to take the next step of responsibility? With no faltering? Does responsibility not become a joy? Remember, there is no joy or happiness for your loved ones if you miss the mark. They may kick you, but they would die without you. The Supreme Father says, "Bring in all My sheep."

An escape complex is a pouting complex. The a middle course is no harshness in the voice, no lagging or weakness, a balance point. If Principle is misused, the one who understands Law should say it in a firm voice, not authoritative, with no opinions or interpretations of Principle imposed upon another. Stick to Principle alone. Then, if you want to descend to "I," you can only say, "I interpret it for me." Do not dictate. The word is let. The Principle of Faith is that steadfastness of courage that is honor. Faith is the exercise of balance between Love and Wisdom, and Honor above all things. There is never an argument except on opinions and prejudices. Be love and compassion. There is never an excuse to blame another who is out of Light.

Acceptance – There is never a time when I can excuse, can explain or justify self . . . above or below. My answer is always "I accept" (Father, I accept this (whatever it is) as something to work out from and up from into a greater knowledge and greater illumination and a greater Almighty strength.) After this acceptance, use wise golden speech or golden silence, pray and stand outside it. Do not wallow! When one has earned the right to know, God will reveal it unto him.

1. Visualization: Visualize your approach. Visualize the complete situation. Visualize the complete condition.
2. Plan: Before entering a situation, plan ahead what to do. Also think through what went before (comparisons of past experiences) or what must be done.
3. Observation: When stepping into a new situation, stop and observe first before doing a thing.
4. Use the faculties before acting: Stop and bring Reason, Logic, Discretion, Discrimination and Discernment and to bear upon the matter at hand. Pause for this process to take place.
5. Then speak or act (action).
6. For an immediate answer, look up, ascend instantly to your Room of Light, ask and thank the Father for answer, then wait for answer.

Prayer: Bow the knees of your heart before and to God only. Remain upright before man. The only pride you may have is in living, ascending to the highest honor of the Father. Not to lower your banner of Honor to anyone.

Consciousness while in prayer:

Ascension: Look up, play up, reach up, cry up (weep), work up, eat up, walk up, lift up. So your work from up there. Stand up. Breathe up. Discipline yourself. You are only as strong as your weakest detriment. Make a ladder of your weakest points.

Logic is common sense, the process of using the faculties, bringing them to bear upon a situation or condition. Thinking is based on facts. Reasoning is analyzing past experiences, and making comparisons. Discrimination is choice of the Father’s way, the Master’s Way. Discretion is knowing the "right time, right place, right condition." Discernment is comprehension.

Surrender first, having become Balance, under Love and Wisdom, to be used by Holy Ghost. To reach a state of Comprehension, all self is lifted and gone. Comprehension results from conscious mind, egoic mind (soul) touching the superconscious mind (Oversoul). Comprehension is that state of consciousness where the individual stands upon earth, fully based in Law, and head in the Realms "seeing" and "hearing." Comprehension is standing upon the Sea of Glass, looking upward, "waiting upon the Lord."

One cannot lift heaviness of body by exhalation when one is enfolded in the power of gravitation. It is the same when we fold our arms, we are immovable. Thumbs on inside, touching the elbow bones. On the outside, the little finger just below the elbow bone, the ring finger on the bone and the other two, close above.

People fill all of Heaven with "I brought this through." Stop it. "I." Stop this. Say instead, "It seems to me" or "they gave it to me this way." "God, open my ears to hear things right." No force, no reprimand.

Insomnia Treatment: Get up and do the rag doll exercise. Go back to bed and reach for the stars, which opens the crown. Lay as a five-pointed star and say, "I am out of my body." See yourself sitting on a cloud. Send your consciousness with your egoic soul, leaving only a tiny subsoul recorder in your brain to bring back what you experience. Feel yourself in a Lake of Purity, relaxing with the waters washing over you. See a Shaft of Fire and step into it, then feel it whirling you upward. In the morning, before you get up, first relive or recall the night’s activities. Then take seven breaths and come back into your body.

Every prayer, every loving thought, every action builds Power until an avalanche of ascension sweeps upward. There is always a high inner reason for all that comes to earth. Be sure to lift your hands high every time there is news of earthquakes or even a feeling they might be happening, because you start vibrations into vacuums.

Instant time is heavenly time. Where Power is released before there is complete Illumination (Comprehension) of Principle back of Power, it is apt to cause wonderment and even a form of confusion for lack of full understanding. Now the time has ripened, is shortened, and we can receive the Power, which carries its own Illumination when it is dripped slowly enough. It is now easier to meet each day’s "evil thereof," for there is always floating karma to be met.

Reach for your Father’s hands, hold his hand, walk emotionally and spiritually with him, so that the Power may use you, to be for a while the added live wire for his strength. Wherever we have criticized or condemned, we must exorcize ourselves impersonally. Where we have invested our soul substance in others, which becomes an anchor holding us back to earth, when we exorcize the particular ones, we speak of ourselves thus, "Let all unwisely invested soul substance of this, thy servant, be lifted from these thy children. Ascend it to High Altars, cleanse and return it to thy servant."

The question then of how much Power moves through you for lifting and healing is determined by your own choice, much, little or complete. Imagine the Glory going into the world for lifting when everyone releases their full quota. Earth will be ascended rapidly. Darkness will be lifted speedily, leaving the wicked floundering hopelessly in the mesh of their own weaving with no Power to use, no one whom they can pervert, no place to go.

"Don’t lose your bounce." You can lose your bounce with one negative thought or word. Catch yourself instantly. Lift arms. Go up. When you talk too much about Truth, you can make a mock of God. You don’t involve God. You can’t continue with a guilt complex or a hair shirt.

We renew three trillion cells in our bodies every day if we breathe up. We must let those cells loose. Opinions and prejudices keep us bound. You must have an affinity cell to draw anything Light or dark. Only your opinions and prejudices bind you. God separated the Light from the dark. Now if God had not separated Light from darkness how could we have lifted dark from Light? Jehovah started a new vibration with, "I now separate, and the divide darkness from Light." This is the spoken word. We couldn’t absorb darkness here in the fire if he had not divided it, and loosened the cells of darkness.

When you are not in an ecstasy of joy, you need the following treatment: With your hands up, reach for the stars and move up! Make these three statements: "I arise! I ascend! I stand in the Heart of the Flame." Reach for the stars and say, "Father, take me, lift me, fill me, hold me, use me." Say, "I rejoice and am glad" on the rhythm of nine (three sets of three statements each). Take seven deep breaths, saying with each breath, "Father, move in and possess me now." Breathe, raise your arms on inhalation and drop them on exhalation.

See yourself surrounded with Light, on a cloud with your arms outstretched. Lift everything concerning you onto a cloud of Light.

At night, make yourself a five-pointed star and go out on a cloud. Take seven deep breaths and repeat the above statements. This way your whole attention is focused outside your body and the subconscious is not your master. Ask your subconscious to serve as a recorder for all your experiences on the inner for you to remember in the morning.

In the morning, before you breathe yourself back into your body, search your memory for the past night’s inner experiences. Then take your seven deep breaths and ask to lift any approaching karma or black clouds of force. Reach out with your arms of Light extended and pray. Reach out for all your misused Light, Power and Substance, that it is gathered and lifted and say, "Father, send forth thy clouds of Glory and thy banners of Light to draw in all I have ever sent out by word, deed, thought or picture and let it be refashioned by thee into new soul substance to be added and used now."

If you feel tense, tired or weary, use the rag doll exercise. With a headache or a tense neck, the medulla oblongata swells and blocks the spinal fluid’s passage. Light comes through the pineal and pituitary gland and nourishes and stimulates the thyroid.

You can’t indulge in idle curiosity. The difference between idle curiosity and divine speculation is that you ponder, without using force.

Drawing a small breath, then blowing it out, loosens you in the body.

The Tree of Life refers to the spinal cord. The medulla oblongata is the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil because it contains stored memories of good and evil. The tree of silver refers to the pineal and illumination, and of gold refers to the pituitary and intuition. The fruit of the tree includes the thyroid, thymus and adrenaline hormones. Most heart pains result from the thymus gland enlarging to release eternal life. Where there is internal conflict and no cooperation in soul, the heart bursts in a coronary. The thymus must enlarge for eternal life. We can’t leave this life with a squinched up thymus gland.

Each of us has been in all kinds of messes because we had to work in the "slums of earth." In the medulla oblongata we have a record of each incarnation. Everything we have thought, heard, seen, said or done, is in the record, along with every vile name anyone called us and every wicked thing we saw and heard, along with the good. It is in our records, and we identify with it. Therefore, we built a sense of guilt. Whenever evil touches our lines and triggers a record, we feel guilt. Ascend, love and absorb the evil.

They release a share of world karma to us as earth revolves under the 12 signs at two-hour intervals. If we have weakness (lukewarmness) under a certain sign, we are especially touched. Shoot up. Reach for the stars. Release a bomb of Light to absorb it. If you break something or stub a toe, make it pay a dividend. Each time we cross an abyss, we must clear our records. Our greatest sin has been our enjoyment of life so that we were lukewarm and indifferent to lifting karma when we were in high places. Today we are making our stand. Our Father has covered for us, but now we pay our debts.

It is necessary to know Light from darkness. When you think thoughts that are unworthy, you are catering to self. You can think of God and no longer think of unworthiness. There is a pretense of Glory and a pretense of false pride. If you are consecrated and act in love, you can pretend, and then you can know Glory.

Hold yourselves gracefully and in an accepting attitude. "I accept all loveliness and all else to lift." You can travel the way of full freedom of the spheres open to you to the Source of your attainment. Warning: If you don’t desire this, do not follow Edna Miriam now. You may go as high as you please. It means to bring the inner responsibility to the outer.

Be joyously, happily responsible and know the result is perfection. The trick is to look in the face of darkness and say, "You are the result. Be Light." You have the joy of inner service before the outer accomplishment.

Think of the full Power we could release without a thought of self, and put the whole thing over. Let your Light shine. By your works you shall be known, not by the wagging tongue. You have paid your karmic debts. Create no more. It is foolish to say words that create more.

Do not entertain yourself quite so much with television. It is a habit that is keeping you from conquering.

The time is here, and there is no more time to wait, to waste, to play. You don’t have the right answer when you use the wrong words. You cannot take prevarication and excuses or run away from the disagreeable in Heaven and above the Gates. Hidden things have no place. You are not imposed upon and you are not getting your unjust deserts. If you got what was coming to you, for your tempers and your broken Vows, you would be earthbound after failing such high Vows. You see, the sons of men make Vows and they ascend, but when a Creator god makes Vows, one is less than nothing when one deliberately fails.

You must dig from under the surface a deep-rooted revenge idea. You brought it with you. It is the sum of 2,500 lives during which you tried to revenge yourself on your enemies. When you blow up in temper, it is using the axe and the lash. Ponder these things and make sacrifice. The Father needs you, but only healed of self.

Search your soul and make sacrifice, whether you need it or not and add one thing to it, "It were better that a millstone was hanged about my neck than that I give offense. If I break the least of the Laws with a shrug (you know what that is, a contemptuous look), I break all of them." This is Law to polish to the ultimate. You want to polish to the ultimate, do you not?

You are doing a grand job, just by your works, not by your words. Do you understand me? You are o’ershadowed and it does not appear what you can be. Be this Law. Become the full Law, for you must polish here. You have the Powers of God back of you. All you have to do is to stay up, but cut out this self-delusion. You will look back and be sorry that you were not a brother but a stranger within the gates.

Appreciation sticks in your throat. Gratitude is the supreme virtue. Why not practice it? It makes the other fellow feel so good and you, too. It is such an agreeable thing to do. Don’t put a stinger in your gratitude.

You must use rigid discipline. All blame cut out, idle words, revenge, all trying to make the other person do what you want done. Every individual has a path back to God. How are you going to make someone else live by your pattern? How can you do it? You pray for the perfection of the Almighty to move through them. Keep your coattails clean.

You are all on your own but with the Power of Heaven, the Love of God, every Power is at your finger tips to apply, to practice, to ascend on. The time is ripe. I declare that you shall achieve. I declare that you shall be strong. I declare clear seeing for you. I declare most of all that you shall hear yourself always so that you may not delude yourself in any way or excuse yourself; there is no excuse for any of you, no matter what anyone does. One disobedience of Law does not excuse another. That which one does, does not excuse this one over here from being perfect.

The time has come. You cannot hide things from yourself under self-delusion. You cannot use treachery or lies under self-delusion. You cannot evade issues and tell tales under self-delusion. You are become of the truth and the truth only shall set you free from the wages of sin, which is the death of Soul. Only truth, only becoming, only practicing. So you are on your honor. Honor above all things, in which is no covering up of treachery toward oneself. Treachery turns inward and devours the one who practices it.

This is the final sacrifice that must be made. Every point of self that you hold onto binds you in pain. I declare that you are going to be perfect in your application of Principle. You are not in bondage. You are free. The bondage is in your own mind. Clean it out and ascend.

You cannot resign from God – you can only regress and become a "nothing." It is more painful than becoming "something." Each of you has tried it a little bit. Did you enjoy it? It hurt all over. The process of becoming a "nothing" is too painful to contemplate. Why is it such a grief to give up self-pity? It is odd to be so foolish when Heaven is so glorious.

There comes a time when you must stand or lose your loved ones, inner and outer, or they lose place. Three-quarters of the regression of the descended Creator gods is because they lose hope about getting back. Don’t linger with them. You must ascend yourself. You cannot lift your loved ones from their level, for they must come up to you at every new and higher level. Let no one off your hook of Light.

What is the difference between concentration and surrender? Concentration is a pure action of personal will. Surrender is letting, giving up all personal will to God always. When you surrender, you cannot use concentration or all you get are dribbles. Light moves in under surrender because surrender is not an act of personal will. Concentration is not surrender of personal will.

"I am always alive and alert to give thoughtful attention to all that I do. With understanding certainty, I find the work I love to do. A thousand channels that work unceasingly for my good lead me to it. Inspiration and enthusiasm fire my whole being. My mind constantly, with complete integrity receives and produces vital ideas and executes them with complete right action."

"My life is an infinite flowing stream of living splendor. The mighty Spirit of God’s Wisdom and Power goes before me and makes my way easy, gracious and delightful."

Common sense is instinct. Enough common sense is genius!

That which you have suffered and conquered had to be suffered and conquered. It had to be lifted, every moment’s pain and force had to be taken back through your body. Your choice concentrated it in the space of a few short years instead of having it spread out in smaller doses over a longer period of time.

Once the soul makes a choice in honor to God above all things, to each ever striving to conquer, all the powers and glories of heaven are opened to that one. It is a glorious thing to look back upon a path where one has ever struggled to do the highest possible thing under trying conditions. Your conquering has made heaven rejoice.

Never think that you are the best. You succeed only by saying, "Father, if You have one who is better suited for this, send him." Edna Miriam always did this, and she was always struck with it harder! Everyone she trained and expected to do this, she found was her teacher and she cleaned house harder and stayed out in front! Everything is now loosed, and what is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven and what is loosed in heaven is now to be loosed on earth. Edna Miriam said, "As you read the Book of Life, you shall be glad that once you could ‘take it’ and love me and not blame me"!

Without God, you are a broken-off fragment, a little nothing fussing around, a little vacuum. The only way is up, and remember, it is not an "up" held onto forever. It is an up, up, up forever. Every day is an ascension higher. Every day, more praise in quality and quantity. Every day, duties well performed under attention, observation and acceptance.

Can you see the end from the beginning? You are in the middle. Suppose you live now perfectly, a moment, an hour a day. Live it all at once, a moment at a time. When does your inspiration come from? Above.

There is no sin greater than that of being sorry for what you have given, in shrinking of the soul. This affects not another, only the one who does it. This particular thing shrinks the soul of the one who does it. It shrivels.

My one continuous prayer is that each one of you may so love that your own Mystic Vision shall open wide to you. It is at your fingertips. It is touching you. Everyone has earned it. But it takes a driving, steadfast and continuous effort. Yes. A real struggle, to close out the clamor of earth, the distractions of earth, the frustrations of earth, the obstacles and hurts long enough to really see clearly just once. After that it is easy to forget the outer – hurts do not matter. Fears are forever lifted. And the soul rides free on its Wings of Light to soar above all petty hindrances of earth. No one can take from you this Glory, and believe me, it is more than worth every effort, every struggle and letting go of every stupid personality that seeks to tie you down to earth. By "letting go," I do not mean letting down! We hold them up higher than ever, above us, where they cannot touch us.

Indifference covers blame but it is a vibration that colors another’s darkness and makes it worse. Throwing back blame for blame forms a heavy layer of blackness that causes family, civil, national and international strife.

You can reach the point where nothing comes through, when you float between waves in a state of suspension because you have cut yourself off from the River of Life and each lifespark has lowered in activity of expression into that state known as the "void." The void is a state in each abyss before there is any form. The lifesparks are inert. Lift your arms and reach for the stars. If you sink to the level of subconscious mind, you remain there.

No one ever uses self-condemnation unless he has thought himself better than the average and too good to do anything wrong. Force: see yourself climbing. Never force another to climb. See them on a cloud. If they fall, they can crush you.

When we feel we are touching something and can’t quite get it, the Logos, the Word vibration has touched us and that part of Mind has filled our memory cells. The Logos is a concept that births the idea. Memory cells below provide the interpretation. We know we have touched something in memory but cannot interpret it. Insist that your subconscious be reordered and you will have an answer. Later we can interpret the vibration into word-ideas. While we are seeking ways to interpret this Logos concept from Mind, we say, "I am touching it, but can’t bring it through." The "can’t" is the block. The very idea that we don’t have a particular something is a block. You must have the inner conviction that it is true and that you can. You’ll be led into the right step by loving God enough. "I want to do and be what God wants."

Five steps to freedom of seeing and hearing: 1. I record. 2. I retain. 3. I recall. 4. I recognize. 5. I remember.

The prayers of the Elect (from savages up) release Power, Life and Light. The state of consciousness of the one who is praying determines how much Light goes forth as Substance. People can fall back under a "lower" type of prayer, and must be lifted from grade to grade. When the Elect pray, they absorb all prayers on earth and release of Power is great. Stand, move into Light, and love God.

God is both Personality and Principle. You must be obedient to Principle, but you worship Personality. Christ was the only Begotten Son, given full Scepter of Power over life and death. The Bible often talks of God as Father, not Principle.

When you say, "Father, I love You," perfect Power can go through you and it can heal. You are only an instrument, not perfect, but Power is perfect and it does the work. When you think you are doing the work, it is a sign of self. There is no work about it. You speak the Word of direction and control, but Power or Mind does the work. This is the difference between light and dark.

We are forming all earth prayers into highest state of consciousness of Love of God, pure, perfect, complete. We release Power and release Vibrations, where does it go? Around earth it goes through individual or affairs. We even set aside war with it. Those of creature consciousness must be taken out of their bodies to be cleansed and taught that consciousness of God is greater than the evils of earth.

Indifference: You put a tea kettle on the flame, the phone rings and you turn it off. When you return, it is cold, no longer boiling. How great is the Light in your home? Great enough for anyone of evil to fall on their face or fall on a couch into a stupor? Are you taking advantage of your heritage? When a miracle surprises you, it shows that you have backed off. You are important to God, the Father. Be faithful. Do.

We cannot set all war aside until those who choose evil go to the bitter end and see it will not work. Let them do their worst and Love will conquer it. We are imperfect instruments – but when we go up and pray, the Light that moves through is perfect. Love God enough to be a completely open instrument – not just a tiny or half-closed one.

Today is one of the greatest of our lives. This morning we have a choice about whether we will tune into the miraculous vibration from above, or to the rumblings of earth, like the union meeting next door. One great Neophyte initiation is to maintain concentration and focus in a room where dozens of languages are being spoken all at once. The noise echoes and reechoes. Combinations of rates of vibration give us form. A low vibration you must hear with yours ears but you listen to God with your brain cells. Ascend to the Oversoul Star, up through the top of your head so that the higher vibrations fall on your brain cells. This is part of your protective sheath on earth. If you ascend high enough, you can scarcely tell which is real, the tree itself or its reflection in the clear, still waters of your consciousness.

Logic, Reason, Discretion, Discrimination and Discernment. Is there any excuse for gossip? The higher octave is Intuition and Illumination under the pituitary and pineal. Reason opens the pathway and lights your way. It is the utter lack of Discretion that gets you in Dutch with anyone. Discernment: Look behind the other fellow’s mask and see how he hurts. When we hold a loved one, he can do nothing but ascend. Check for discernment. The subconscious must be cleansed. Acknowledge it, lift it, and pour love on others. Praise God, the Father. Praise is intoxicating. This gives you the joy of living.

We have no past, only a present and future. We are allowed to describe only the high spots of a need – once is enough, no details, no comment on "what happened to me." We should not be touched by the cause of the need, no dwelling on the effect. We need not take back force physically, if we put the condition up immediately.

Look in the face of darkness and say, "You are beautiful, like the sun." Have you meant it? Apply it. The secret of Eternal Youth is inflating the atoms, molecules and cells with Light. Unless you lend yourself to become a servant of all Power, you will have an inner conflict of false beliefs. Clean it out: Illness, disturbing false beliefs, anchors to the past. Aged cells will slough off and you will glisten in your desire body. Do you care about this radiance, this Ascension from the physical? You know these truths. Others in similar but lesser work do not.

Our keynote is giving, not asking. Spread out. If you burn your hand, say, "All fire is raised from earth." Fever, congestion and burns are used to break up the dry ice stage. All congestion is destroying some evil in the cells.

"Maybe it’s my fault" is pride. Self blames the Supreme One.

Dig out pride, and this last remnant of an idea that anyone has ever taken anything from you. When the last trace of that idea is lifted from your mind and heart, there will be a just return. No one can take anything from anyone, permanently. It can be laid on the Altar for the Father to use as an instrument for the release of Power. And to have no thought or idea of that which is taken out of one’s hands and held by another for a time allows justice to work its beauties. All debts must be handled in this way, as owed to God or the Law, the debtor paying his debts at the right time, without personality entering. To have the idea that a person owes us puts it under loss and delay. Law is justice itself. Cleanse yourself, open all doors and windows for the debtors of earth, and lift all personality involved while declaring that Law does the work. Personality must be freed by being put on a cloud, yet Law is the only thing that holds the one you are blaming.

Sacrifice of self is necessary because of its effect on others, for without it, another may suffer for its lack! The first command is to honor God. Then surrender completely, doing the next thing next, and you make no mistake. Nothing is ever wasted. Always be ready for great change, have everything in readiness, and learn all your lessons well.

You feel as though you are in complete bondage because self has bound your hands every time you have allowed self to rule you. You feel free only when the Holy Spirit is moving through you in full Power and the bonds are broken.

As your measuring rod to compare each action from now on, use your greatest moment of highest exalted love, devotional to the point-of-melting surrender. This is what you must exchange for anger, since it is an equal distance to either point, high or low. What do you desire to become, creature or Creator god?

You shall become through doing, as the perfected instrument of Glory, and the keynote is in the word doing.

Nothing is impossible under the Spoken Word. Yet, it is not always instant in action. The Spoken Word must have an undercurrent of faithful vibration upholding it until it goes forth as the Power supreme to build the thing, object or desire into outer form.

Greed pushes man down. There is no equality; Heaven is a place of degrees. Each is on his proper degree and vibration.

"Greater works than these shall you do." By this, Jesus meant "as Power is released, each will be greater in responsibility than I am now." This is the greatness of our responsibility to lift. It’s like the difference between a camel and a jet in speed. That is why we make sacrifices for others, for ourselves, and even when we do good. Make a sacrificial time in every prayer, giving something of self and making it a gift to God. The term, "work," in Heaven means "I work for myself." The term, "gift," means "I give a gift of self for others."

The Word, Life and Light are all God as Himself. The Word is God as Mind. Life is God as Action. Light is God as Substance. "Let there be Light" is a general statement of Principle. John speaks of the Word, which is man in expression as the personality phase of God. Mind deals with sacrifice. The action is service. The substance is expression. Mind is composed of three phases of expression: superconscious, conscious and subconscious. Jesus is the Only Begotten Son because he is the only one with the Scepter of Power.

If you say one negative thing about anyone, you recreate darkness. If you recognize slavery and are hurt by world suffering, you push them down. Lift them and put them on clouds. It is better to see perfection only in order to bring it to pass. How can we recreate perfection if we refuse to see it as God’s? The world is ours, it is our Kingdom also.

True, the higher you go, the more vulnerable you are to the loss of something you thought you had saved. As you hold, you tend to invest your life with your love, and the lifesparks you have invested in another are battered and ache when this happens. You can’t be hurt unless you have used force. And you pay the debt, the world debt of pain and sorrow.

Consequently, if you even touch force, you invest your own life, and that can be battered. Naturally, there comes a time when that forceful determination reacts, good as it may be. Still, force is used to cut out the rebellion and the hatred of the one being lifted. How easy it becomes to get involved in the outer. It is important to hold, at any price.

One great Law: Listen to the answer after asking the question.

Let us treat others as we would be treated, according to the old saying of "do unto others, love your neighbor as yourself." If you wear a hair shirt, you will also put a hair shirt on your neighbors. Remember to say, "I do love my neighbor, just as well as I love myself."

It is a shame that you do not hold all the time, that you let yourself sink into old ditches. You either have given what you have given to God, or you have given to demand return credits. Do not put a blot upon the beauty of your sacrifice. Do not blemish this with any petty selfishness that would take back gifts.

It feels good, does it not, to ascend. It feels good to get rid of selfish demands. They are puny in comparison with what may be had. Yes, joy comes from above. All the help you have had comes from above, and there is just one answer to your prayers. How long before you remain steadfast day and night at the Source, kneeling, until every shadow of your misuse of Power is cleansed from earth? The answer: "I shall stay there until it is finished," without asking how hard or how long or how grueling or how lonely.

Hold your place, and I don’t speak of humility and patience. I speak of the Love of God pouring out in compassion. You can afford to be generous because as long as you look up, you shall have the answer is as always in the past. You have always been held, except when you wrenched yourself out of God’s arms to be willful. You had to go into the world to have your ears pinned back.

You are being you again. You are really the soul of you and you are breaking into atrophied brain cells again. You are developing new ones that lie dormant, and some day the Wisdom of the Almighty will pour out. You will write a book on the travail of the soul coming back from the darkness some day, and it will lift the weary and it will bring them back to their higher soul.

Gentleness and compassion, loving God with all your heart and soul, and expressing gently, sweetly, kindly. You have all these ingredients. They are all contained in the Love of God.

If I could wave a wand for you that would forever bridle your tongues, your unruly tongues, there would be no difficulty for you. You would meet problems smoothly, lovingly, quietly under the Love of God. You have had the benefit of training such as never has been given on earth before.

When you let a line of Light sag, someone trips on it and it can spoil a whole Heavenly Plan to discomfort and confusion unless someone puts up a wall until it is absorbed and holds the lines that should be held. Power is using you and until you can bite your tongues and hold them, you will not be fully happy.

"No sacrifice of self is too great, no task too hard or too long!" You are dedicated to God. What on Earth can harm you? What can keep the Power from using you? How can it be less than perfect when you are up where the Power is undiluted, unadulterated by fears for the little self? How can God fail?

Your prayers can never be in Words. They must be in a melting devotion and love of our Lord, of the Father. Anything less than this joyous abandon of Love for God is not good enough and you’ll slide down on it, on words of "supplication for help." You are your own help! When you love God and forget self. NO force. No drive. "Let" How? Love God enough!!! In this is no room for fear. The little self is always afraid for itself!

Move up! Above your hair roots. Move up into your Father’s House. Take Him love, not worry. You are trained to the limit. Where is your beautiful, your glorious smile of Glory. Not a strained, forced smile-I’m-here-and-I’ll-do-or-die-smile. There’s a difference. Love God. Keep your eyes, your mind on our Lord.

You’ve been gifted. You’ve been honored. You’ve been held and protected and you shall move up where God IS your ease, your comfort. Why sink back into ‘intellectualism’? One step above takes you into such ecstasy, such thrilling rapture, be fascinated with God. Is God your Power or not? Make up your mind! You can’t go back! Go up!

All of that you have ever visioned shall come, but you must walk to it one step at a time. Watch your words: No unnecessary ones in your business. Bite your tongue if you must. When you cut out your idle words, you will have no conversation for a while. Just do not talk. Retire into a vale of silence.

Hold fast to this one thing: "I shall from this hour onward, move upon my pathway step by step, fulfilling my mission. Every hour shall release the Power to wipe out past transgressions of Law and open new lines into fulfillment of God’s high bestowed destiny for me in His service. I am His Son, used by His Glory, filled with His Power, a finished, fulfilled and completed miracle." (When you use it for someone else, say "you.")

There isn’t any problem that the world can present that the Love of God cannot cover. The things we get the "hurtest" about, the other fellow has already forgotten.

Someone must deliberately give all darkness to the Father. No darkness of whatever grade or kind can be lifted unless somebody who loves God enough will scrape it up and give it to the Father as their gift; it ascends according to the purity of our mind, heart and purpose. We cannot lift any more than we are. We cannot lift any higher than we are and we cannot pray any higher than we are practicing Law. All prayer, from the savage to the highest god, is used to overcome darkness and to lift Terrah. The little grades of prayer, short of quality and quantity, are folded into the next grade and the next grade; the prayers that do the work are those offered in selfless consciousness. We move from a state of selfishness to a state of soul-ish-ness. The one negative thing in your heart, of pride or arrogance, goes forth from you all the time and that is what the other fellow gets.

No one has a good reason for any statement of fear, which is really a consciousness of self importance. Fear of giving up of one’s authority causes laggards. This is a hangover of authority of the regal memory of high places left, that goes into reverse here. It seems like inferiority, but is actually not giving up self.

Each has free will to use the right words, to create a kingdom in beauty, to release Power that uses you, to stand as Creators, to love God enough. Then comes free will in little things. You want to have your way, but it is safe only if you keep the free will of loving, joy, giving. Go down on your knees when gifts come.

What you sank into was an old desire to do something about it yourself with too many words. Practice Golden Silence, and love. You have reached the point where your words can sear and destroy. Speak only when you see something slipping. Just be certain that God is doing the speaking through you. Be firmly determined in love.

No matter what you are doing upon earth, you are in Heaven, functioning. When you don’t remember, you have erected barriers of self. When are you going to accept? Ask yourself. You cannot be under confusion when you are under Divine Law.

The first step toward becoming one with the Supreme is this coming into oneness here: One mind, one purpose. You have been led, step by step, into His oneness. All for one, one for all. When you look out into the world at the greedy little teachers, who give bits of this and that, you compare what you have.

You have credits stored up. Why do you not believe always, why? God’s Power uses you. Why drop back to the little, rationalizing, stupid self that would doubt the Powers of God? You close the door upon yourselves. The Kingdoms of Heaven are open to you, more vast than any you have touched so far. Use this to your advantage of beauty, harmony and "added things." The base metals of the world turn into gold for you, not upon demand but because you are serving the universes.

Accept your heritage. Accept the Glories you are to express, the powers that are to move through you for healing. But, remember, you cannot make one lifespark do anything. You cannot command or demand. Do not be childish. Surrender yourself. Surrender yourself to the full Power to use you. That is the "nothing is impossible" stage, the "greater works," the ability to let Power use you to your advantage, for God can see what that advantage is.

Faith is the substance of your body. You use unconscious faith in everything you do. #1 Your present desire comes under Unconquerable Faith. #2 Your prayer pattern comes under lavish Love. #3 Under your goal comes defense. The Children of Israel were told they would possess every foot of ground. You have to stand and defend the faith. The only defense you have is to say, "Darling, you are wonderful, I love you." No one can handle love.

Any type of physical limitation is born from the root of fear. It only takes a small one to dilute the good. Every trifling word of a doubt, of a seeing of darkness before you seek full Light, magnifies itself in proportion to the Power going through you.

Go to the Throne and reach out with your arms of Light. The more you take in, the less territory the dark ones have to work in. "Here I am, Father" increases the quality of the substance you send through and "thank you" increases the quantity.

When someone has spoken evil of another, as in gossip, hold him on a cloud where he can do no more harm. Hold his tongue and lips in a cross of fire.

Your present initiations have been on Discretion, Discrimination and Discernment. You are complete on discrimination, not quite complete on the other two. That means to be foresighted, not hind-sighted. It requires great caution on your part, for unwise speech or self entering when righting wrongs leads to self-righteousness indignation. One cannot be self-righteous under pure Discrimination and Discernment.

Continue seeking advice and checking, lest a touch of self turn into a large blot.

You cannot be hurt by lesser intelligence unless you allow it. You can become an immovable rock that cannot be shattered. The Light shall shine through your sheath of Light, along with discernment that will enable you to see souls in travail, possessed egoic souls. Pride, resentment and intolerance cause deathly travail. Someone who loves enough must breathe life back into them. You are breathing the Breath of Life into all creations.

The egoic soul carries on daily tasks while the Oversoul is conscious of serving in the House of the Lord. The Supreme Oversoul never leaves the Supreme Father. Much substance is added to each part of soul to accomplish this. Every time you sink in consciousness, you push the added part from your bodies. Hold fast your gains. It is a simple thing to move up to your tower room where the gains are, where you can see in all directions. Discrimination, Discretion and Discernment are your three telescopes to view North, South, East and West. Hold your gains or you will say, "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?"

How greatly can you love? How heavy are the lenses of your rose-colored glasses? You must be divinely dissatisfied with your achievements. You can always improve.

You can conquer all things through Love. You are insulated from the world unless you crash through the insulating walls of Love. More of Edna Miriam’s work on conquering self must be in print. In time, it will reach the many.
