Do not seek causes for past debts, but pay gladly and abundantly. Stand and let Love move forth when doubt assails you, when burdens grow too great to be borne, when anything touches you. Nothing can cause you harm. When one delay comes, it is to cover another secret and hidden need of body or affairs, or to protect you from a falling bridge, which you built too hastily and perhaps did not anchor safely or strongly enough. Nothing can harm you.

Your present need is to stand and know this until you forget everything else and go free of all past bonds. Nearly always, a sudden pain or illness releases poisons that would cause death later if not allowed to escape into the Light where you can fully conquer them. Therefore, all is good and all things do work together for very good.

February 22, 1943

All’s well, though it seems complete darkness. We shall all hold the Father’s hand. We can retain our hold only by constant vigilance, and constantly permeating all war zones with love. We can lift and harmonize those whose ruthless power hurled civilization into utter chaos in all past Ages, only by continued praise and by prayer.

April 18, 1943

It is a sin to grieve. Repentance must come and it cannot come unless preceded by protracted, deep grief. So then, the problem is to sublimate grief, its sharpness, so that its ever-present burden will be a constant reminder that you have earned nothing, yet to hold it so that pain can be set aside and to say on one hand to it "be absorbed in joy" or let grief fasten upon you. It is a delicate balance to be reached. It is not to be attained in one hour or in a day. It is a balance to be attained constantly. From deepest experience arises the deepest desire to act. From one fall, one little lukewarmness an hour by a thousand people, is indifference built. Indifference is a curse.

April 22, 1943

Do you all know what the Holy Ghost really is? The River of Life, Emanations of the Almighty Life-force itself. The Wings of the Holy Ghost are motion. The Holy Ghost itself is rest or peace, tranquility, a cessation of creation. The Wings of the Holy Ghost move over you, setting you in motion and quickening you. When Great Fathers move their arms in a double horizontal figure-eight, it has a continuous motion. The fingertips touch. It represents the meridian, goes over the meridian line and covers several lines. The other Holy Ghost comes up through the feet. This Holy Ghost comes from the heart center and touches the breastbone (sternum) There are eight perfect circles of Power. [Feet to knees (2), knees to the sternum (2) fingertips to elbows (2), elbows to sternum (2).]

If you feel weak in the morning, you are losing your life energy through the fingertips, elbows, knees and feet. Before sleeping, stand, lift your arms and do this motion above your head then inspire. Create the horizontal circle first across arms, crossing at the sternum, make a circle that encloses the fingertips. Then create a second vertical eight from the top of the circle up. Leave open the crown for the Holy Ghost to fan you all night. Thus you encase yourself in a set of double circles. You will be vitalized by the morning. The Holy Ghost is the life that you are. Be conscious of constantly partaking of it. Recharge yourselves. We are trying to encircle you in a coffin, a sarcophagus.

July 4, 1943

Do not have lengthy, repetitious prayer. Remember prayer releases Power. Keep mind and heart on the Power moving forth. Use time of the others’ prayers for trying to see God. The words are but the bombs to carry the Power, which explodes forth in the same way.

You can’t pray too much. No matter how many times a word is repeated by an individual, it releases more Power with each repetition.

October 14, 1943

Laws are Divine Plans and must be fulfilled. When torn down, all must be done over once more under Order, for Plans are Divine Laws, and must be fulfilled. A promise given by the Father becomes a Heavenly Law, and when you give a promise, it becomes a Law that you must fulfill at some future day.

November 15, 1946

Joy that produces, creates for itself, of its own essence and very heart-substance, that which it desires. Joy causes the hearts of madmen to change and say "Yes" when their mad answer has been "No." Nothing can resist its appeal, or turn away the one who knows its magic and will stand in Joy and sing songs of praise for those whose minds are in such sad confusion. For in the confused mind lies many unseen fears, all for the self. And one so confused always seeks to block the way of the ones sent by God. Yet, that dam shall burst and sweep away its builders and shall exalt those who Create in the Joy of the Living God, knowing no fear for the self, accepting ridicule and dismissals as part of the confusion, and in no wise intended of God.

One always feels a grief of compassion when one finds that the mentor to whom one looks for guidance is petty and has a closed mind.

December 20, 1943

You shall be promoted into your own position. Yet, remember, you take yourself along, lifted and cleansed, or this cleansing yet to be done. Isn’t it better to conquer where you are now standing? You shall do each thing as you see it to do. Praise of Joy shall bring all your Desires to pass. Hold fast all gains.

Speak in understanding to all. No one is required to understand you, for you climb the steep way of the Masters, yet you are called upon to understand all others.
