January 17, 1942 God always wins when we let Him do through us and stand in sweetness plus firmness but sweet and gracious, not self righteous for that means self consciousness, not God being the only conscious one! Just surrender all your self this time. Be confident in God’s Power, not your own, for you have none, but only God’s through you when you are a perfect instrument.
Work stands according to the Foundation upon which it is built. If Truth, spoken and lived, can tear anything down, then that is a not-Truth, for Truth builds Truth and may not, cannot, destroy itself. If lies have done the founding, then Truth blows away the structure. We seek to exalt Truth, to justify Honor, Loyalty and Truth. Standing nobly and serenely upon the Truth, being steadfast to establish Truth can harm no one, but only draws to itself all others from the deep shadows in the Vale of Illusion. This is Truth and the Truth shall stand, clear and free.
Predictions are not prophecies. Religion is not lugubrious seriousness. It unfolds to you in smiles and joy.
You cannot just bluntly tell people the truth. You must have the other fellow hooked on the line before you tell him the truth about what he must work out. You must love them along. If they ask a question, give them the right answer lovingly.
Faithfulness has a reward. Do you not feel that idle words are foolish? Put a bridle, checkrein and bit on your idle words. Watch your hearts and minds for a slight doubt, critical thought, or condemnation. Watch that.
The principle of looking with physical eyes open is different from with looking with eyes shut. At first you think you are seeing the Master’s Chair with physical eyes. Also, you must test or "try" intuition or impulses. If you have a flash of vision, immediately go to the Mercy Seat and ask the Father if it is "yes." He sends you back, usually two or three times to see and check that it is no illusion. You will be given pictures and asked what Realms they come from. At night, let your soul travel and ask what you see and hear. In the early hours of the morning, look and see. Each of you is a key upon earth. Sometimes the key gets stuck and won’t turn. The Master Key opens the door. The Grand Master may open all locks in the world, open all locks and fill them with Light and Power. When the keys of the individual become muddled, the Grand Master opens the door. Turn all keys to open your door, so that you may move forth in Light. As you move forth, you are perfect in Light. You must be perfect in love, in selflessness and in understanding. "Disposition" is out from the Light. Always be in position!
Hold yourself firm and you will weave over your mesh to eliminate the past weaknesses. You must not be weak. Hold the middle line and be just and merciful but firm in your justice. Do not blame others. You can love only to love, not to possess another or to make a demand for self. This class is to ascend body consciousness. Do not make hard work of it. You must learn how to let go of self and not to demand in Heaven. All are worthy to come when you can sacrifice self. It requires absolute faith and sacrifice of self.
As the crust of opinion and prejudice is melted off minds and hearts, the debt is let in through memory, and as you pray, you shed a load of the past. Do not fear, condemn or indulge in disgust of self, since there must be a cleansing of all past karma. God has at least five ways to perfect the same thing in the outer. Incidents on earth often change the road or path to the plan, or to keep a balance on earth. The Power release must be equally balanced throughout earth.
Idle words, idle thoughts: Which is greater, self or Ascension? Why do you fuss and fret? Condemning and criticizing are worse for they destroy the vibration. Watch for the sun. Do not look back into the valley. Take what you do well, and do it. Do just what you see. Keep your minds and hearts clean, and tongues from wagging at both ends. Get closer in understanding and compassion.
Initiation: Each must walk the burning sands of the desert step by step, alone. Until now you have had aid and help and hands to hold. Now you must gain entirely alone. Use this lovely time to gain in hearing, vision, strength in which is no weakness of the self, and love, which is pure and undefiled. You shall not be alone forever. Yet, you can extend the time by lagging. The greater your ability to hold yourself to the White Point of Heat, the sooner you will move on up into the Light. All is well. Each pays part of the price, each in his own place and way, but all aid in paying. The greater the sacrifice, the greater the rewards.
What is your desire for the perfection of God? Do you want to move out of the cornerstone position? The Master is the capstone. You all have your part in this. It is according to your vision. The Father cannot trust you with more than you can see and can hold up. Study, sacrifice, burn the midnight oil necessary to hold. You create your own place. God has promised you many things, but only when you are prepared for it. It has not come because of you. How strong do you want to be? If you sink below mental power, you will see only greyness. The Power will be great. Stay high. A single upward look and, "I thank You Father. I love You Father," increase this a thousand times an hour to cover everyone and everything in Light. Do not, I pray, impede the Power’s progress through you, or you may explode. If I could but paint a picture of glory, what I could paint for you! Stand as one. Do not let little things delay you. God does not smite you. You have smitten yourselves often. To love God is the only possible way to create upon earth. If you love self, you will be an empty, dry pod. Anything you desire of the Lord, and believe you can have – deeply, truly and with no thought of fear – anything that is not a selfish demand and that will be for the good of all and is possible for you to serve and give – it is possible! You have gone through the fire. Your own ability determines what you release. Your desires, your illumination and capacities determine what you can do. Compare your self with God, not with man. Humbleness will take you through and make you wise.
How steadfast can you be to hold to your point after God says it is yours? Or do you allow cold minds of earth to cool you off? You must still conquer this cooling off process.
When you cease praying, you retrogress. Hold your point of progression. Look around before you condemn or critically judge another. Each brings something into the whole. You will understand all things that you cannot resolve now later after all experiences in one life. You all own or possess consciousness of it to use to help everyone. All children of earth will share these experiences. All must have the same descended soul which makes for oneness, Oneness of the All. All is enfolded into the Light. You share your experiences with others on the other side. You do not all wear the same size – whatever you are and share in the Light – so are you. You are ascended. You have a great destiny. You all have knowledge of your weaknesses, also of your great strengths – to hold you all in the Light. You are stronger than you have ever been. Your eyes and ears are open. If you hold to that calm point, you will see and hear. Your hold yourself to that high point of activity – and then it is morning. See and hear – go out and watch – then come back early in the morning to remember. Watch your step. After Ascension Day, you are released to apply what you have learned to carry forth. The Power will go through your spoken word, or drop off through June, July and August. You will receive double credits for all your studies and sacrifices during June, July and August. If you exalt and praise, you release more Power. Simply pray and praise and do your daily labor and lifting for all life. Throw out your nets on the right side of the boat and haul them in.
Physical eyes have not seen the three bodies above the fire body. [There are seven bodies, three beyond (1) cellular, (2) molecular, (3) atomic, and (4) subatomic.] Sublimation is "translation," being raised to become more selfless. Parts of the body can still be physical during translation. Transformation is from negative to positive. Transmutation is from darkness into Light. We can either raise or lower the Creative Fire. "Enfoldment" refers to a Marriage of the Lamb. We enfold the Oversoul in the second Marriage of the Lamb. Substance is always here. Light, Color, Tone, Number Name (Form): The first descent of the Oversoul (Light) is marked by humbleness and weeping, consciousness of being a member of the Elect (Color), and of the importance of being a mouthpiece of the Father (Tone). When you are touching Tone, this descent of Oversoul requires "becoming" the thing itself. First you need "doing" and "being" without being "conscious" of doing or being! You are conscious of the choice but it is sacrificial through Number. 1. In physical Form, one is self-conscious. 2. Number is soul consciousness – one chooses and separates soul from self. 3. Under Tone, one is becoming one thing, and has no more choice but "hears" the choice. 4. Color brings seeing. 5. Light is what the soul becomes. You are dynamic and vital only under Law. Remain attuned and up-drawn.
After we learn, then apply so much Law for a season, the "worldly mission" always comes, where we must prove every step of Law we’ve thought about, let alone taught. Of course, many tragedies occur along the way, owing to intense egotistic leanings, or equally intense opinions and prejudices. Perhaps these last are worse to work out of than the former.
You must learn to use your own abilities for seeing and hearing. First, you do both from the time you are conscious, after reaching earth. You do both whenever there is some unusual need for extra faculties – usually under fear or great stress, unexpected. It is a "sense of knowing." This is purely spiritual- intuition. For a while it remains like this, but as you continue "looking" and "listening," it reaches down into the actual physical nerves that function the "All Seeing Eye," and then, vaguely and dimly at first, gradually growing stronger, you begin to see the forms – "like unto a Son of Man." At this stage a "doubt" or "why" sort of scares it away! You are always doing one of these or both. So, just "keep on keeping on" and someday, inevitably, you can’t avoid seeing and hearing. Just keep on.
Allow nothing to cause you to let go of your Point of Contact – nothing. Take these Heavenly gains from your lives, and what have you left? Where would you go for assurance, confidence, strength and understanding? Hold all your gains. If, by any chance, something of the world does cause you to let go, just reach up again and grab hold of your own "live wire" from your source. Waste no time in vain self-condemnation or foolish grief. Just grieve enough to go to the Mercy Seat in repentance. Grieve properly for allowing any silly thing to cause you to lose a moment’s time, but grieve while "praising up, looking up, lifting up and holding up." We can always climb back, but let’s just climb.
Do not seek to know "why." Know only that you are required to release more Power. You have reached that place where the Law requires responsibility for one’s place and that Power to run that place and that Substance with which to build and create new things. Have you decided to dream, to float, to let go? Are you fully using what has been given to you? Are you "knowing" why you are delayed? No barriers restrain you except your doubt and lack of faith. Renew, vitalize, quicken and recharge your affairs now. Nothing is wrong. The Father but awaits your release of enough of your own Substance to send the Power of the Universe your own affairs.
You are finishing something you left undone, and you’d better be walking on eggs or you could flop in the November-December Initiations. You had better get "prayed up" and do some "searching of soul" for an old indulging in rebellion, which still must be lifted. You are in the right place, but not yet in the "fulness of the right attitude." In the right way, the right place, at the right time you’ll have your promotion. Blaming others for your own spot is the cause of demotion and delay. The cure is to give up everything instead of holding parts of yourself out of your surrender, to finish quickly learning that "everything is really good and very good." You must finish this before Christmas, for your old karma is tied up where you are now.
God tests us on our Balance of Desires when we are living as we personally desire. How can we understand our lessons unless the Father advances us above what we have earned? Understanding comes only from advance beyond our ability to reach at present, to a point to which we do not yet even aspire. This is the Father’s way. Your "lights" [aura] determine your true point. Your Desires, fervent and alive, are well able to keep old Gates open. Watch your own lives closely. For all hidden enemies of self do arise for balancing. Unlovely things, unknown to you, will cause you to blush as you bring them forth, unless you lift all such freely to God now. Each will have opportunity to release the self of all hidden things. It is best to take advantage of it. What is your Will upon this? Are you ready to cover all self with consuming Fire of the Mother? So shall it be made into Light. Life must be lived in full Glory. Live in the fullness of Creative Love. Would you be free? Live in Love. Enough Love will make possible anything. Enough Joyous Praise will make the impossible gloriously possible.
Law cannot be set aside to suit the whims or desires of anyone. Law may not be used. You may invoke Law, yet beware in invoking it, lest you invoke it unworthily and it returns to delay you, even to destroy. Many seek the Master but find him not, because they do not seek him in the way of sacrifice. He said, "Follow me," and carried the Cross, even unto physical death. How then can Law, if not set aside for the Only Begotten, be annulled for any other? The Master’s Path requires courage. Laugh and sing, while remembering that no task is too hard or too long and no effort too great to do in love. Greater credit will accrue to you if you look forward, while declaring all your past good and very good. "This is good and very good." Only the fullness of Unconquerable Faith finds the courage to follow this Path. Once we truly learn lessons, they are finished and done and come no more. Until you learn, they do come again and yet again. Why stand and ask "why" on one step? Why not use valuable time in climbing higher, where one day the sun will melt the clouds and you will see the "why" of all past things. We must earn everything that God advances to us. Debts must be paid. Much that you have not yet seen or heard is yours when you increase your flame of Desire. Lukewarmness does not do "the greater works," but devotion, unmarred by anything of self. Seek, therefore, to sacrifice all self. Seek advice. Make certain that self-desires do not color your seeing and hearing, for self-desire is self-delusion and leads straightway into the Vale of Illusion from which one does not escape easily or soon. Once within, you follow paths through mazes. You may not turn back, but only follow each path to its final and often bitter end. This is a sad way of great delay. Therefore, it is much better to seek advice. How else shall you learn to know the true way? Is it not better to find out before entering the long path through the Vale of Tears?
You are called upon for still greater sacrifice. Lay yourself upon the Altar first, in surrender of all Will to possess anyone or anything. Then name, one by one, all folks or things, desires or hopes, and give them again unto God. Lay business and love, plans and duties upon the Altar and come before God free, purged of Earth. Make sacrifice of self. When you have so made all sacrifice of self, turn back again and truly make sacrifice of all self. Do it again and yet again, each time opening at your beginnings. For this so-great sacrificing of self, you shall not be able to hold all the Glory of fulfillment poured out upon you. So exaltation in bliss shall come, and Illumination with veils rent asunder. Take up your burdens, duties and plans again, but only as if they belonged to God – nothing of your own. Handle them in Honor and Love, Loyalty and Joy, as His.
It seems to me that you have learned a truly fine humility and that your Divine Desire to "let" God must bring results. "A ram is waiting in the bushes." You could not have a greater Message than that. Read it over. Isaac’s surrender to his Father’s Will. Abraham’s surrender to his Father’s Will.
I confess that I do not always understand "why" some things happen, but I’ve never asked, because I know that "nothing can come unto me but my very own." From this truly mighty experience, our greatest knowledge and advance comes, I know. You are now stepping into your very own vibration. You are sent to lift this particular contingent of men. In other words, until you were quite purified, you could not do that perfect work required of you elsewhere. See to it that this work is work for God. Let love flow out on Joy that you are found worthy for such great tests. "Only the strong can stand in these trying places." You can take it even as I’ve always had to take it. Let who will run! We’ll never run, and we’ll live to fight another day, too! All your delays have been in payment of hasty temper and judgments of others and things of the past, also of resentments toward others, especially the resentment and judgments of others who are in resentment. You may surrender all this at once and you may release love upon your whole past. Enough love will wipe away all your debts of the past. You are indeed free when you free yourself fully by acknowledgment of your past rebellion against the unjust doings of others. It is still unlifted, much of it. Lift it fully and forever give it up. Remember, God adds and multiplies; He promotes and advances. Somehow you will meet the right advance. Target yourself. Think only of God and give to man. You cannot even remember that you are giving. It must be unconscious giving in "great measure, pressed down and running over" of God, through you as this perfect Servant of All His Power.
Christmas Message Love, to me, is an essence and a fragrance of happiness in another’s joy. It is a deep desire to always take the blame if possible to smooth another’s path. It is a conviction that we should cover with Light and so hide others’ mistakes from the world. It is a deep heart-desire to do anything asked of me to give even a moment’s happiness to another. Love is a delight in being instantly obedient to a desire of the Father, not waiting for Him to put His desire into words of an order or command. It is an honor so great, given to the Master and Father that it would willingly face even death in joy to carry out an order, even when it was utterly misunderstood on earth. Love is Honor in expression hereon earth because God’s Honor is an exact, perfect blend and balance of Love and Wisdom expressing itself in Selflessness always, under all circumstances. To me, love is incapable of forgetting to love, despite anything earth can produce. Love is the soul itself giving itself up to God and to man. This is only a beginning. It is an individual soul thing. It cannot be commanded, copied or bought. It must be earned through the travail of experience in surrender, enduring all things in joy. We find it ensampled in our Master, Jesus the Christ and each must be like unto him to know and express the Joy of Love. |
