Crusaders of Light

As Crusaders of Light, we accept our responsibility to live as nearly as possible the life portrayed by our Master while he walked on earth.

We feel that this is a life of joy not sorrow, success, not limitation. There is no place in it for death nor darkness. We leave nothing out of this life.

We believe that every creed, every denomination, every religious dogma, every teacher, minister, rabbi and priest is appointed to give something of God to the world. In each we find truth, and our business is to relate all these different ideas into a perfect, beautiful, coordinated working whole.

We subscribe our lives to do this in as unobtrusive a way as possible, taking no credit to ourselves, but giving God, as all the Power there is, the whole and complete credit.

I believe in God, the Manifold Creator, the Father-Mother of us all, Maker of the visible and invisible universe.

I believe in Father-Mother God as both the Source of all life and the expression of all life.

I believe in Father-Mother God as both Personality and Principle: Personality, which is the Father of Wisdom who plans and the Mother of Love who sustains all which they create; Principle as both Spiritual Substance, which becomes, and Divine Law that directs and controls.

I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, begotten, not made, before all worlds God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, who was incarnate by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, who lived on earth, suffered and was crucified.

I believe his soul ascended to his Father at once—that his body
was buried and raised to be ascended the third day.

I believe we must judge ourselves each day according to his standards.

I believe in turning to Light from all darkness and that, through surrender to the Power of God,
all darkness shall be overcome.

I believe we must be resurrected from all weakness into all strength.

I believe we may, by following our Lord Jesus Christ all the way, see the unseen, commune with the saints and bridge the abyss from the visible to the invisible here and now.

I believe we must ascend to our Father-Mother God for the Life Everlasting.

We believe in the Motherhood and the Fatherhood of God, the Holy Trinity of the Father, Mother and Child.

We believe that God created the world, and He is still here with us, watching us care for it.

We believe in the sacredness of the human body, this transient dwelling place of the soul, and so we deem it the duty of every man and woman to keep his or her body beautiful through right thinking and right living.

We believe that the best way to prepare for a future life is to be kind, live one day at a time, and do the very best that you can do each day.

We believe that there is no devil but fear.

We believe that no one can harm us but ourselves.

We believe that we are Sons and Daughters of God and it does not yet appear what we shall be.

We believe in the purifying process of sorrow and that death is but a manifestation of eternal life.

We believe in sunshine, fresh air, mental freedom, pure friendship, and a world of beautiful thoughts.

Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, which art in Heaven, hallowed is Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom is come, Thy Will is done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Thou hast given us, each day, our daily bread.
Thou hast forgiven us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors.
Thou leadest us not into temptation, but deliverest us from all evil, for Thine is the Kingdom, and Thine is the Power, and Thine is the Glory, forever and ever, amen.

Small Creed

Our creed is Love.

Declaration of Unquenchable Love

Love is a flame and fire that burns ever.

Love cannot be quenched.

Love cannot be put out. Love is.

True Love needs no assurances.

True Love knows itself and its own.

Love is the fire that enthuses.

Love is a fire that ever burns higher, always upward.

True Love is the end as well as the beginning.

True Love feeds upon itself and not upon the loved one.

True Love magnifies the one whom it loves.

Love asks no favors and gives all.

Love's strength lies in its self-sustaining ability.

Love's keynote is a deep, abiding devotion to the one who is loved.

True Love burns steadfastly under all conditions, joy or sorrow, separation or unity.

True Love counts no effort too great nor too small, and no task too hard nor too long.

True Love is lifting, opens all doors, and is all-compelling in its power to unite.

True Love is never conscious of giving, but like sunshine, shares itself with all.

True Love withstands all separation and lives forever.

Declaration of Unconquerable Faith

Faith is the golden stream of all life flowing from the Heart of God.

Faith is the ever flowing bloodstream of the White Light of the Christ.

Faith is the beginning and the end of all life.

Faith is the substance underlying all manifestation, its foundation bedrock.

Faith is the everywhere evenly present Substance
from which all creations are fashioned and formed.

Faith is the flame of life within the heart of the co-Creator with God.

Faith is limitless, inexhaustible.

Faith is unending and all enduring.

Faith is unconquerable.

Faith is all-conquering.

Faith is complete here and now.

Faith is ours to use here and now.

Faith can open all doors, overcome all darkness,
overlook all weakness and perform miracle after miracle.

Faith is the Life of my life, the Heart of my heart, the Soul of my soul.

Faith is the Divine Rod of Power between God and His Sons and Daughters.

Let Faith now rule our lives and reign upon earth forever!

Declaration of Invincible Joy

Joy is the permeating, sustaining Beauty of my days.

My life is beautiful because Joy fills it with Divine Activity.

The Beauty of Joy enthralls me, and my heart bursts with the need to express more of the Love of God.

Rapturous Joy sends thoughts of loving Compassion winging forth toward all men,
and breathes the Beauty of Unconquerable Faith upon all whom I love.

The Divine Rapture of Joy lifts my eyes to the stars.

Joy sends my Spirit of Praise, my sense of Devotion and Gratitude,
soaring upward toward the Source of all Power in words of thanksgiving.

Joy leads me upward from an earthbound consciousness
into the Beauty of the Christed consciousness.

I become perfect in Joy for this one moment.

I hold myself steadfastly in this perfect spirit of Joy– just one moment at a time.

Joy is the Eternal Source from which the Spirit of Youth springs forth
to dominate my life and all of my affairs.

Joy is the firm foundation upon which I build my whole life,
and by which I hold conquering Power over self.

Joy is the strength of my soul and the Power moving through all of my personal creations.

Twelfth Night Chart of Ascension Initiations

This chart of the cyclic Path of Ascension, the Via Christa, repeats yearly and never varies as far as the Laws of Ascension are concerned. Use this chart throughout the year as an aid and reminder of needs in conquering, overcoming, and to answer "whys." (There is never an excuse to ask why once one has vowed to follow the Way of the Christ). The Via Christa automatically uses outer situations to repeat every unlearned lesson. Each year prepares for the next, always on an upward cycle, and the same old lesson is sent forth one grade higher than the previous year. No one loses, for they credit every smallest gain from above, and they promote each "according to his faith."

October 20 to Christmas: October 20 is the beginning date of our Chronological Initiatory Year. New prophecies are given, old prophecies explained, and new Power released according to how well we passed Initiations since August 10. November 1 opens the Joy Month.

Christmas to Twelfth Night: The Heavenly Councils "hold" the level of Power to see what we do with it, and how we operate on full Power. If the Power is too great for us to stand strong, they cut it back as needed.

Twelfth Night: January 12 is our spiritual New Year. The Heavenly Councils announce new appointments, changes and promotions, present Scrolls of Destiny to all Ascending Souls in Heavenly Temples, and set the keynote for our year’s service and expansion. They reset and "tune"our Life-Chords (harmony vibrations, they tune our nerves exactly as we tune musical instruments). We must be in a State of Grace (an attitude of acceptance and surrender, Oversoul kneeling before high, Holy Thrones in reverence and awe, devotion and praise, while expressing Joy and Compassion to the world).

Twelfth Night to Ash Wednesday is forty days of soul inventory. If we have not fully lived the Power, we repeat the October 20 to Christmas Cycle. They credit all gains and repetition is solely for overcoming weaknesses uncovered at this time. During three days of Twelfth Night Initiations (January 11-13), they may give new prophecies and we may receive higher Illumination. They step up Power again. Each day is a Day of Judgment in just appraisal of gains, in preparation for sacrifice of self during Lent.

Ash Wednesday to Easter: Ash Wednesday opens Lent, the Season of the Sacrifice of Self in Joy. In Joy we make sacrifices of all negative spiritual, mental and emotional expressions to conquer the little self. Palm Sunday opens Holy Week and a Power release that reaches a climax on Easter morning.

Easter is an evaluation date. They double released Power if sacrifices are over-sufficient, and soul conquering is done in Joy and rejoicing.

Easter to Ascension Thursday: They redouble Power in preparation for Pentecost. Pondering what Ascension means now pays the greatest dividends of the whole year in Illumination. Only Illumination from a high Source can dissolve the "mists of matter" that lie between earth and the different Realms of Heaven, which veil the Mysteries of the Universe, lest too much Power destroys us.

Ascension Thursday to August 10: Masters and Guards are under heavy vows not to interfere with or give suggestions to their charges on earth during this period. They sustain the level of Power released. At Pentecost, we are placed under full Light to see if we hold our gains.

August 10 is the date set for lifting accumulated darkness, as force and misused soul substance, from earth and the minds and hearts of men. During three days (August 9-11) of Initiations, they award credits, and we reevaluate our Vows of Conquering. We remake the vows we have not paid, in preparation for the Period of Temptation.

August 10 to October 20 is the Period of Temptation. They step up Power, daily, as much as we can stand. The amount of Power released through us is "set" by midnight, September 19, and not increased until after November 1. This is the year’s great Initiation Period, and our Guards return, actively guiding us according to our needs. They send initiators to us, using outer conditions as the temptation to uncover weaknesses. The year’s credits are totaled and added to our Chronological Heavenly Chart. We will find the year’s prayed for miracles visible. Prayers should increase in fervor, for often only a little more prayer substance will make visible the desires of the heart.

Vows of Consecration

Neophyte: To make my body a fitting dwelling place for my soul.
Disciple: To surrender completely to become the servant of all the Power.
Adept: To be selfless in my release of Power.
Mystic: To keep my silence shining and golden.
Master: To be master in all responsibility.
Priest: To keep pure in heart, mind and purpose.
Christos: To make my supreme vow of complete surrender of self.

Mosaic Ten Commandments

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

Thou shalt honor thy father and thy mother.

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet.

Mystical Ten Commandments

Thou shalt love Honor above all things.

Thou shalt love Justice and live it continually.

Thou shalt live with thy neighbor as thou dost desire to live with thy Master.

Thou shalt not live by false pretenses.

Thou shalt honor thy Father and Mother Virtues, that in thy soul and heart they may be lived, and glorify thyself before thy Maker.

Thou shalt not kill Vision, Lights, Prayer or Love.

Thou shalt not disturb by word, by action, by deed, by false prophecies, or by false pretenses.

Thou shalt not steal another’s Faith, Ideals, Hopes, Aspirations or Inspirations, for God will not hold him guiltless who disturbs a soul’s Peace.

Thou shalt hold thy neighbor close. His joy shall be thy joy, his sorrow shall be thy sorrow, and the understanding of Christ in you shall see the Light to shed.

Thou shalt not desire an-other’s goods by look or by word or by action, such as personal ideas, loves, friendships or the path each chooses to follow, for God will hold you responsible for their indirection from His directed path.
